As their work progressed, we were kept up to date on the issues (clogs) with pictures of their findings being provided. They completed the work within 1- 1/2 hours and then left. We were very pleased with their work and their pricing was very reasonable. "I would NOT recommend this company for anyone needing HVAC services. The technician they sent into our home was inappropriate and asked personal details over the phone with me. Our smoke detectors were going off in the house, and the technician told us carbon monoxide was leaking from the HVAC. Our smoke detectors only detect smoke/fire and they were going off due to a loose wire in one of the detectors. Becht Givens quoted us $10,000-$12,000 for a new HVAC because they "detected" carbon monoxide and that's why the smoke detectors were going off. They came out before a huge winter storm, turned the heat off in the house, and told us to pay for a replacement and they couldn't do anything else for us. Thankfully I called another company, and they assured us that carbon monoxide was not the issue and fixed our actual issue. This company is out for money and I will never use them again. I called to ask for a refund on the $99 dispatch fee and they refused a refund. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!"

"From Oct 2020 to January 2021; this company installed 3 gas insert systems, logs and burner, that were totally defective; we (the company and I) finally gave up and they gave us a full refund, but no fireplace for the winter season; installs were awful; first install the technicians were given the wrong timeframe; the product worked for two weeks; second install the product had a problem and stopped working twenty minutes after technician left; third install the technician didn’t showed at all, and didn’t call until we called the main office to tell them of the problem; when the installation happened the system worked two hours and then stopped working; run from this company to Louisville and find a reputable company with products and solutions."
