"Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"

When I needed to change our contracted work date, LITERALLY the day before, Tony immediately rescheduled and never made me feel like a troublesome client. And this was all changed on a Sunday afternoon when he did not even have to answer his email to accommodate me. Nice, but what about the workmanship, you say! Well, Andres is Phenomenal!! He is highly skilled and his work is impeccable!! He repaired and painted 5 large holes in my drywall and you cannot see even the slightest uneven texture or imperfection!! He even cleaned up beautifully afterwards. All this, and the price was great....and very fair. I will use A Step Above again and again!!"

"To begin with the salesman told us most of the work would be done outside. Also the molding did not have to be removed. This was all wrong information. They did most of the work indoors. They did not put anything down on my runner or my wood floor. My runner and floors had to be steam cleaned. They destroyed the molding around the windows. The caulking is horrible. They were supposed to send us a survey. It was never sent to us because they knew we were not happy. No one from the company contacted us to see how things went. We have to call a finish contractor to replace the molding. This is not acceptable. I do not recommend this company. "
