"NMTI (who we hired as Tru Blue Construction Inc) were superlative. Juan and Ramon were excellent communicators, answering all of our questions in a timely, professional, and endlessly patient fashion. Our project was a big one - our self-managed condo building had a severely leaky roof that needed a full replacement, including redoing a roof deck - and I imagine we were not the easiest clients since we had tons of questions and a lot of "cooks in the kitchen" with different owners and condo trustees weighing in. Juan and Ramon took it all in stride and were incredibly helpful for me in my role as project coordinator. Their team was clean, efficient, effective, respectful, and friendly. They worked both quickly and thoroughly, and were good to always keep me updated as the scope of the work evolved as we found new (but not unexpected or spurious) issues during the demo/rebuild process. "they replaced the shingles on top of a bay window where there had been an ice dam and added underlayment. The siding on the house is pre-colored Hardie board, while doing the work two of the Hardie boards broke. They replaced the broken boards with two primed but unpainted Hardie boards . They never asked if we had more pre-colored boards in the basement. We did! I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"

I engaged Gibely in October of 2020 to replace my roof, gutters, siding and more. In a world where everyone makes you feel like a number, Gibely clearly gave you a family atmosphere on the job site. Two words,...they cared! Brian Dobbins (owner), Jeff Northcott (general manager) and Deb Dwinnell (office manager) were a pleasure to deal with. They were easy to reach, and they were willing to adjust for certain changes we had asked for. Brian's experience helped us decide on the roof color (and quality) and gave us valuable suggestions regarding the siding. Never did I expect siding to look this nice, and this real (like wood). The crew was always on-time, polite, clean and most of all, professional throughout the job. It seemed like they never stopped working. They were on the job site early and left as late as possible. No one was hanging around, everybody was working and doing their part. My yard and driveway were cleaned daily. Myles was extremely neat. Craftsmen to detail, and no hidden costs or secrets. Our Job was finished on schedule, and they were able to accommodate a time frame that I thought was not going to happen. The aftermath of COVID-19 in 2020 left many of the surrounding warehouses with little to no stock available for projects. Len Gibley Contractors worked very hard to acquire the products needed. "FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!"

"Should you need a great contractor? My husband and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with Pro Warrior Painting and Construction. Living in Newburyport our large wooden deck had seen it’s day and we knew the time had come to completely replace it. Yann the owner, from day one was personable, professional, prompt and a perfectionist. He and his crew went out of their way to get our deck done within budget and in a timely manner. We never felt forced or pressured into making decisions, but were encouraged to make decisions together for this project. Yann’s work ethic really was above and beyond what we expected. It was a tough work with demo and complete rebuild, but everyone on his crew had a very positive attitude and worked very hard until all of the work was done! It’s obvious he has had these guys working for him for a long time as the daily moral was high and they all worked together seamlessly, with an obvious tone of mutual respect. These guys worked, day-in and day-out, to get work done in a timely fashion, often working very long days. They were meticulous workers ensuring everything looked perfect. "After 3 decades of every few years replacing various pieces of rotted wood trim on our house with PVC I decided to take the leap and replace all the wood trim that had the potential to rot all at once. LCT Construction had just done an excellent job replacing my roof and I picked them for the trim work. The salesman James who I worked with was more knowledgeable than all the others I've dealt with, was direct when discussing various options and details, and was committed to doing quality work. It's hard to judge these days, but I think their price was very reasonable. At the beginning of the work James came by and we reviewed exactly what was to be done to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day before work started they dropped off the material they needed for the job along with a dumpster (with wood under the skids to protect the driveway) for the discarded wood. The workers were here every week day with the exception of 1 rainy day even on days in late November when it was very cold until the job was complete. Each day they started around 8:00 am and didn't leave until it got dark, and they cleaned up before they left. All my interaction with everyone on the crew was friendly and relaxed and we were happy to have them around. On the last day they cleaned everything up and removed the dumpster that evening. Every aspect of their work was excellent. I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of trim repaired over the years and this is the best I've seen. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. During the work they discovered some rot that needed to be repaired. They did it for a reasonable charge, and there was never any attempt to up sell or expand the scope of work. The only negative was that they told me the day before the agreed starting date that they needed to slip by 2 weeks. I wish that hadn't occurred but compared to everything else it's not significant. If I ever need trim or roofing work again I'll definitely contact LTC. They were completely professional and easy to work with, did exactly what they said they'd do with no hassle, and I couldn't ask for a better result. I recommend them without reservation for any roof or trim work."

Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer."
