"My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Logan and his crew from Cutting Edge Painting for an exterior painting project on our home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, truly going above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The team arrived on time every day, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean and organized work area. They were courteous and respectful of our property, taking care to protect landscaping and outdoor furniture. What truly sets Logan apart is his commitment to going the extra mile. During the course of the project, whenever we were not fully satisfied with an aspect of the work, Logan stepped in and did all he could to make sure that we loved the finished product. I wholeheartedly recommend Cutting Edge Painting and will undoubtedly use their services for any future painting needs."

"Everything turned out fantastic. They responded with an estimate immediately and ready to get to work. They were very efficient in painting our vaulted ceilings and livingroom/bathroom/hallways. They also installed a vinyl floor in a bathroom. They cleaned up their mess, moved our furniture back and mopped the floor. I would hire them again for any projects I have. In addition, his rates are very reasonable. I'm sure I will be calling them back to do some exterior painting!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Niles, MI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
