"It was completed. How well it was done, remains to be seen. Thank goodness I was home, but the crew showed up 6 hours early, which fortunately worked out. The crew was very professional and nice, and explained things. Why I say it remains to be seen how well they did is because I know the ducts have not been cleaned in years; shame on me and the previous owners. However, when I was the amount of dirt that was disposed, it did not seem like a lot of dirt. I base this on the internal pictures that the crew and the man who inspected our heater took of the duct."

"It started off with requesting a quote through Best Air Quality and Restoration. The response time was great. The technician who showed up informed us in advance of his arrival, was very polite, followed Covid-19 safety protocols, was very thorough and did a great job. I also got the dryer vent cleaning which was the complete deal (going to the attic, removing the vent pipe and cleaning the debris). Some other companies claim they do dryer vent cleaning but only vacuum the dryer duct and do not perform the complete dryer vent cleaning which is more involved. The major stress that comes along with having to replace an entire HVAC unit in a home is always the price, and unfortunately there isn't much that can be done about that (unless you have friends/family in the business and can get that hookup). Fortunately, when I initially purchased the home I knew that the HVAC unit was on its way out and was able to comfortably set aside the potential costs well in advance. The response that Premium Home Services offered is what made it great. Out of the three total estimates I'd requested, only Premium Home Services responded in a timely enough manner - that is to say they responded and had someone out within 24 hours. I've had experience in the past with other services where contractors responded in minutes and had folks out same-day, but I had no such expectations for a project as large as an HVAC replacement. They came out, explained what needed to be done, what they could do, and even tried to talk me out of replacing the whole unit as they would've been able to do some work to keep the current system up to save on costs. I had already decided on an entire replacement of the HVAC, but having a company provide you with options is something that, unfortunately, isn't always the case. The work took about 5-6 hours, and they worked in scorching heat and didn't seem to stop, except for the necessary water breaks. They cleaned up very well, they were very respectful of the interior of my home, and were very patient with the questions I had. I definitely recommend these guys."
