We hired Nasr Electric to replace our ancient 150 Amp breaker panel with a new Eaton 200 Amp panel (along with a new service cable, new ground electrodes, and a new water ground connection); run 4 new dedicated lines (for an EV charger, the refrigerator outlet, and new GFI outlets for our bathroom and outside deck), and install an outdoor EV charger. Joseph pulled the required permits prior to the job, and he and his crew arrived on schedule and completed all of the work in one day. They were all very friendly, respectful, and professional. Joseph answered all of my questions, and the work site was left in pristine condition. The price for job was very reasonable -- much much less than the first electrician I contacted, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I highly recommend Nasr electric. "Most other services I called for a repair of my non-working gas fireplace wanted to inspect my firplace, clean the firplace, check the fireplace to give me an estimate, etc. None of them would agree to just repair it without doing things I did not need done. They quoted anywhere from $99 to $325 to clean, ispect, etc., but no commitment to repair the log fireplace. Conde Tech Services was the exception. They quoted $250 to clean the logs and the enclosure and repair the non-working fireplace. Eddie was the technician. he spent close to 3 hours meticulously cleaning each element of the logs and the enclosure, replaced batteries, and got the logs to fire up again. He was also an excellent communicator and focused on repairing things, not rushing to get out with a quote for future services. Good man, Eddie."

"These guys did a fantastic job and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Small business, all primary work done by the three owners/operators of the group, who are are masters in their respective fields: "Tech Guy", Electrician, and Gas Fitter. (I genuinely hope to not cause offense by this broadly generalized description). I had a 20kW Cummins LP/NG-fired automatic backup generator installed and connected to a new automatic transfer switch, and (since we had no existing gas system) a new 500gallon LP propane tank installed and under-grounded to feed the generator. My main electrical panel was brought up to current code in the process. The excavation and burial work was subcontracted to a trusted local operator that did really nice work, and they worked with Southern States to provide a tank and first fill. They handled all the permits and coordinated the inspections. Waiting for the county inspector, and waiting for Southern States to fill the tank after the gas inspection, were the only observable delays in the process, and those were negligible/reasonable. The SciFiHomes people were quick, efficient, and obviously practiced with all of their pieces of the work. They will strongly prefer Cummins-brand generators over the competitors, and they are more a more expensive initial investment compared to them. After doing my own research after their sales pitch, it is a very worthwhile "upgrade". The difference between Cummins' generators and the competitors is fuel efficiency; according to the math, I'll get over 24 hours of additional runtime vs (as an example) Generac's 20kW generator at 40% average load on a full 420gallons of propane in the new 500gal tank. With an extended outage, or multiple long outages as with last winter in Frederick County, that's a very significant advantage. Sorry for the "sales pitch"; I only included this to prove that they're in my opinion very justified in pushing the "premium" brand. We purchased the extended warranty uplift as well as their extended service agreement. We can't recommend them enough; fantastic experience, and this generator has already flawlessly provided over 20 hours of outage coverage in the 5 months we've had it. Winter is coming, and we'll be ready this time. It just works... These guys and their total solution probably isn't the absolute cheapest in the area... but we absolutely got what we paid for. "OH MY GOODNESS! WE ARE SO HAPPY!!! This was just such an EXCELLENT service from every respect! First, FH Furr was responsive - they set us up with an appointment right away. They said that they'd give us an estimate and we could decide what we wanted to do from there. We had SUCH a hard time finding anyone that would come out/was available, so this next-day service, early, was just what we needed. We had excellent contact from them - from a confirmation text saying they'd see us the next day, then when we called dispatch first thing in the morning once everyone knew their schedule, they knew where we were in the queue - window of 10 til 1300. They called to say when they were finishing the first job, then when they were 20 minutes out. We got a picture of our tech, so we knew who to expect. When Steve arrived, he was professional and explained what the first part of the service would be, then what to expect based upon what he saw. He was qualified to work both the electrical and the generator side of the problem, which was EXCELLENT because the other techs here had been able to work only one side of it and not even look at the other. Since it was a combo problem, this was exactly what we needed. Steve was courteous and professional - he put on slippers every time he came in, wore gloves and mask. Which is quite an ask in a house that's been sitting with no AC for 4 days. // then, the actual quality of his fixing the problem. He walked through everything, explaining as he went what connected to what, what it did, where things seemed to go wrong ... all this was EXACTLY what I needed because I wanted to know so I would be a little smarter (this is the second time it happened). I learned a lot, followed his explanations because he put it in terms I understood, and I really felt like he cared that I understood. As it turned out, there were multiple things wrong - loose connections, which burnt a post and a wire, which prevented the signal from getting where it should, etc etc. He explained both the panel and the generator side of things as he fixed it all. Then, in ultimate customer service, he walked through and made sure the whole house turned back on - making sure the AC worked, that all switches were powered, and that everything was as it should be. Then, he made the whole system go through a cycle - making sure the power properly switched from utility to generator, that everything came up on generator, then that everything released back to utility and the generator shut down properly. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the whole experience. We're also now part of their annual service plan. I tell you, we could not be happier. I highly recommend them."
