"I had searched for landscapers who dealt with small jobs such as trimming bushes because I had limited funds. Mr. Enriquez from Enriquez Remodeling and Landscaping was quick to respond to my request and made an appointment to see me the next day. He was courteous, respectful and professional. I showed him a few of the bushes that required trimming, however, he offered to trim all the bushes on the property at a very reasonable price stating that he wanted to get the job done right and had worked within my budget. I explained I needed the bushes trimmed first because my husband and I had planned on weeding and mulching the bush in a small area in the front after they finished their work. He quoted me a reasonable price that included both the weeding and mulching that we could not refuse. The crew was top notch. We were impressed with the work they had done. They did an excellent job cleaning up when the job was finished. The bushes were professionally trimmed and provided a beautifully appearance to my front yard. They did a beautiful job on the entire landscaping project and went above and beyond my expectations. They had revived my front lawn. Somehow they could determine where the old areas were mulched before and create a better shape than the original. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with their work. Our yard had not looked so great."

"The job was done quickly and efficiently. I was present when the team did the site preparation. I observed a lot of the work out of curiosity. They worked well as a team. Deliveries of the septic tank and materials for the drain field arrived on time and in coordination with the work being done. Several tactical decisions were made regarding the installation of the drain field to speed up the job in an effort to remain ahead of the weather. This gave them time to fill in the trenches, smooth the surface, plant seed that we requested, and cover the seed with straw before the rain came. Otherwise, we would have had a muddy mess. Well done!"

Our backyard was useless with standing water and a mud pit under our deck, but Troy installed a french drain system and buried several downspouts to divert the water away from the middle of the yard and installed some river rock with a border under the deck to make it an attractive area versus an eye sore. "Kurt (Distinct Landscapes) performed an exception makeover to our property. We have owned our home for 20 years, with an eye on a landscape design to the house front - that pops. What we inherited were azaleas and christmas trees that continued to grow more expansive over the years. I provided Kurt with my budget and blessing to take the necessary design/purchase/installation steps necessary to dazzle. He did not disappoint! Kurt was a joy to work with, paying several visits to our property to discuss proposed layout and educate newcomers concerning the finer points of horticulture - in laymen's terms. What a makeover - Korean Boxwoods, Dward Red Barberries, Goldmound Spireas, Nandina Domestica, Chery Laurels Knockout Roses, A Purple Crape Myrtle and Dragon Lady Holly species ... to name a few. Kurt did not overcrowd the design, but allowed sufficient spacing for future growth ... definitely planning for the longer range investment. With his selection, he also ensured more diverse colors over a greater portion of the calendar year. "We hired Northern Virginia Landscaping Virginia Landscaping to help with a drainage issue in our yard. Overall, they were outstanding. Specifically, - We invited several companies to assess the project and Northern Virginia Landscaping were the best in terms of showing up when promised, thoroughly assessing the issue, and suggesting a plan for how to proceed. It’s amazing how many other companies missed key issues, came up with half-baked plans, or didn’t show up at all. - When we retained Northern Virginia Landscaping, Ibi, the owner, worked closely with us to come up with a design that was both practical and aesthetic. - Ibi was very open to negotiation, helping us prioritize different parts of the project and evaluate trade offs between costs of various parts of the design. He also specifically sought our input into the design through the process. By the end, we felt like the design was our own. - Once the design was finalized, Ibi was clear about when the work would begin and how long it would take. When heavy rains delayed his crew at another project, he was clear with us about what that meant for our start date. Overall, the communication and customer service were excellent and Ibi made himself fully available when we had questions. - Once the work began, it went very smoothly and largely according to plan. We knew exactly what would happen when and on the few occasions there were unanticipated decisions needing to be made, Ibi consulted us on our options and quickly incorporated our feedback into the work. - We did not necessarily seek out the lowest cost option, but the prices were very reasonable given the high quality product. Just as important, the pricing was very transparent and there were no “surprise” costs once the project began. The work was completed on time, on budget, and on spec. Ibi also did a final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied and to answer our questions. Overall, we very very happy with Northern Virginia Landscaping.
