"Last month (July 2017), Ed, the owner of EMZ Contracting, put the finishing touches on a refurbishment of my condo master bathroom: we took out the 1970's ugly-colored tub and tiles, built — not installed — a gorgeous tiled walk in shower with sliding doors, put in a new tiled floor, a new vanity, new toilet, new lighting, new exhaust and heat lamp. I am completely pleased with Ed's work -- or rather, artistry. You see, Ed likes his work and takes great pride in it. When I first interviewed firms to do my bathroom, Ed’s observations and suggestions made excellent sense. He was there to help with every step of the process: suggestions for tiles, lighting — everything. The other contractors I interviewed just threw numbers at me. Now, my condo was not built to precision specs back in the day, and over the years the building has shifted slightly. These caused some problems that delayed Ed’s progress, problems that might have caused some serious dilemmas for less gifted renovators. Ed used imagination, good sense and expertise to get through those problems easily — or at least "easily" is how it seemed to me. In the planning stages, Ed said that he could do the job for the price on his estimate. We never skimped on materials: I selected exactly what I wanted — good quality stuff. And even though Ed several times worked long into the evening — those problems I mentioned earlier — EMZ’s final bill was right in line with his initial estimate. My bathroom is now a haven because it’s so well done and efficient. In summary, Ed is honest, hard working, and efficient. He takes enormous pride in doing the job right, and when planning he has a great eye for what will look good and what won’t. He will not charge you for what he has not earned. Like I said: an artist. I’m planning to re-do my outdated kitchen soon, and, frankly, I’m not even going to bother interviewing any other companies: EMZ has the job whenever I’m ready to start."

Additions and Remodels
"T J the owner and Eddie the tile installer are consummate professionals. T J listened to me as I explained the work I wanted done and he made it happen. He was very involved in making sure the work was completed in a timely manner and he even installed the baseboards and mouldings himself. The price for this project was very reasonable and both my husband and I love the work that was done. We would highly recommend SaltLight Construction, LLC to family, friends and anyone who may be thinking about hiring someone for tile installation. Great work!!"
