From our initial meeting To go over the project to scheduling, implementation and completion he was There to not only oversee the project, but assist his crew. The job was done as scheduled and Cesar returned a few days later to check on the concretes drying. Over all we are very satisfied with all aspects of the planning, scheduling and work completion. I offer the removal and installation of both simple and decorative concrete (Broom, Stamped, Exposed finish, etc...) I specialize in flatwork (i.e. patios, porches, and driveways) I will not overcharge and my work always comes out clean. My business is new, but I have been in this industry for 5 years and have poured millions of sq. ft. of concrete and learned from those who have done it for much longer. I guarantee a product that will last and you will love.

"The post were getting week due to rust and high winds. Also had been disconnected from block wall. He attached an extension to the fence so it could be reattached to block wall. Then attach supports on each side of three main post and put them in concrete. Then fence is as strong as new."

"I had a difficult time finding a dog door installer for 12 inch thick walls containing 6 inches of concrete, until I found Noriega. Jesse sounded professional and honest on the phone. He sent Martin out the same day. Got a reasonable estimate and he got started as soon as I wanted. Arrived on time, got right to work, and left work area clean. I was impressed by the quick response time, willingness to work around my schedule (late afternoon), and the fact that he did not try to charge me extra when the wall contained thicker concrete than expected and therefore took longer to cut through. Work looks high quality and professional. Definitely a positive experience and would use this company again.  ."

"Timothy Edison was very helpful in our selections of products and colors for paint, carpet, flooring and backsplash tile. In the bathrooms he guided us to tile for the shower walls and floors as well as doors and other glass for the showers. He gathered information on our color ranges and materials from us and then brought the samples to us! We didn't have to trek to several stores or suppliers in order to make our selections, instead we did it all in our home. Other than having to wait on some products to arrive, everything went off on time or we were kept informed of any changes. Tim was at our house when each new phase of the work was starting and made sure everyone knew the plan. We highly recommend Tim for his design expertise and his professionalism."

"ArtCon was my 2nd choice for concrete work. Choice #1 was Chief Concrete, but they continued to ignore my requests for a quote. My only complaint with ArtCon is their customer service isn't top notch. They are delightful to work with, but I always had to initiate contact. It took a few weeks and a few emails to get a quote, $2400 for ~170 sq ft, which I'm sure included a little buffering as I live an hour outside of Vegas. Included in our contract was 2 colors of my choice. We didn't want to go with your traditional earth tones for our floor. We have a cool lineoleum product thru out the rest of the house which has greys/blues/greens/browns in it. I had wanted subtle blues and greens, thinking the grey from the existing concrete would show thru. Trying to get a sample of these colors was darn near impossible before signing the contract. We decided to go with the water color product instead of the acid based product, with blues and greens as our colors.
Once the contract was signed, we selected the date to do the install (Jan 7). Two weeks before the install, I sent an email to John verifying we were still on for Jan 7, along with directions to my house. I heard nothing back. Three days week before the install, I called to verify we're still on for Jan 7. John was in the field, so one of the ladies in the office checked for me. Apparently my install date had been changed to Jan 9 and no one bothered to notify me. I didn't mind the change, but shouldn't someone have contacted me BEFORE they changed the date???
This was a 4 day process. Day 1 was grinding the junk off the floor and filing any/all cracks in the foundation. Day 2 was the primer, an off white self leveling stuff. Day 3 was color application, Day 4 was shiny top coat/sealer application.
Day 1 the crew shows up and as they are grinding off the left over junk, John is showing me samples of the blues and greens I've selected. We decide it would be too intense of a color, he tells me and quot;French Greyand quot; actually has blue tones too it, so that should satisfy my blue needs. They'd use and quot;Charcoaland quot; as the darker, contrasting color and the off white from the primer would show thru. That was the ONLY day I saw John. From there on out, I worked with Victor, the lead foreman for the job.
Day 3, color application day. Victor shows me a sample of the colors his mixed up for me. Let me tell you, and quot;French Greyand quot;? No blue tones in it. None. It's just a light grey. and quot;Charcoaland quot;? Just a dark grey. And since we're over an hour from the shop, it's not like Victor can just run right over and pick up the blue for me. I agreed to go with the 2 grey colors, thinking they are neutral enough that I can always throw a blue rug over it and if I ever change my mind, I can always replace that blue rug with a brown one, or a green one.
Victor and his crew did a very good job cleaning up after themselves each day. I have a few spots I need to touch up with paint, where the machines bumped into the walls, but that is it. Nothing broken, nothing damaged.
Do the floors look good? O yes! Is it exactly the color I had in my head? Nope. Can I happily live with it? Yep. Would I use ArtCon again? Meh, the jury is still out on that one.

"The cover looks great, nice material, alumawood is very nice and sturdy and no painting to do forever vs a wood patio that you have to maintain constantly, this was the third one I had this company build for me on my new home. Sharon and Valerie were great to work with, very pleasant and kept me in the loop as to day of installation. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for a solid patio cover that you don't have to paint ever and will with stand over 100 mph winds. The price was very reasonable and it included the concrete stump and installation of the concrete slab.."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in North Las Vegas, NV

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
