"We contacted three companies seeking ideas/proposals for installing lights in our newly installed pergola. Owner Mike Potucek came out to provide his recommendations. Mike is clearly very knowledgeable about outdoor lighting and is passionate about his work. Mike provided his recommendation to install 9 low voltage LED solid brass light fixtures with stainless steel transformer. Mike noted he could place our existing lights which illuminate our trees and patio bricks into the new transformer. The lights automatically come on at dusk and turn off at the time of our choice. Mike and his team of two arrived on the agreed upon date and, as predicted, they had the lights installed in about 3 hours. The team took the time to hide the wires as much as possible and space the lights to provide appropriate coverage. Mike and his team went over the operation of the system and ensure all of our questions were answered. The work area was cleaned up and the table/chairs restored to their pre-installation location. The lights themselves are impressive and add a very good ambiance to the pergola/yard. The lights only illuminate the intended area and do not overwhelm the rest of our yard. We were so impressed with the experience that we asked Mike for an estimate for installing lights on the front of our house. Our overall experience was very positive-from Mike, to Kim in the office who responded to e-mail questions quickly and completely to the crew who assisted Mike. "We have used Willow Glen for several years now, both for routine yard care (mowing and fertilizer) and bed maintenance (mulching and cleanup). We have also used them for several significant landscape projects (removing old stuff and installing new bushes and trees). At this point, other than 3 or 4 big trees on our property, they have removed and replaced all the landscaping on our property (most of which was 25 years old). <br /> This project was different in that it was hardscaping. We just had a new deck installed and wanted to put in a stone border around it. We also wanted to install a flagstone walkway from the front driveway around the side to the back of the deck, plus some flagstone step landings off the deck. We met with Tom a couple of times to discuss, and upon our quote acceptance, they had the project done the following week. ( the advantage of doing projects during off peak times for landscaping work). <br /> As always, the work was remarkably good, and we are very happy with the quality and appearance of our new stone features. "The Sunnyview crew did a great job! We had the front and backyard re-sodded, a pine tree removed along with all the old yews, junipers and other old growth, plus had a retaining wall built in front. Juan worked with us to create the new landscaping and went out of his way to get the exact type of bushes we wanted. We have a privacy fence and additional plantings scheduled for the fall. We hired Sunnyview to trim existing hedges and maintain the lawn for the season as well. I would highly recommend Sunnyview - it was a pleasure to work with Juan and his crew!"
