"I hired Blue Horizon Construction for a fully custom home build. I worked with them from site selection, to finding an architect, to demo, site prep and build, including sourcing all materials. They stood out for their attention to timelines and our home was built in the best timeframe possible, while managing cost and quality well. Happy to recommend them to anyone looking to do a full build, major remodel, or other project."

"I have remodeled 5 homes and built one. With all my experience with contractors and subcontractors, I have never found one as reliable as Carson. He has helped my family with repairing older beach homes for the last three years. We have hired Carson to do a lot of jobs. He has completed all of them in a timely manner, using salt water resistant materials that will stand the test of time, and the end product demonstrates excellent craftsmanship. He helps us make decisions from 200+ miles away, staying on budget but producing excellent results. We haven't had to stress about overseeing the job as Carson treats our house as his own. We are beyond thankful for him, his team, and his attention to detail. My great grandfather built one of the homes in the 1950's and its withstood many Hurricanes. I'm so thankful that Carson can carry the tradition of excellent craftsmanship to our special place. As for specifics of this job, he built beautiful shiplap in our den, repaired our deck, replaced a rotten support beam with plumbing and electrical running through it, and painted our porch and deck. He did an incredible job."

"Tex Curtis was so helpful and patient throughout the entire building process. Whenever a difficult issue arise Tex and his team had great solutions that made the process less stressful. I am truly grateful for dedication that was shown during my home building process."

"Excellent Professional company. We would hire Greg again for future projects. Greg has many great ideas and really knows his business."

"Chris and Jason were easy to work with. No pressure to add additional work although I had them also renovate 4 bedrooms from removing popcorn ceiling to laying Pergo ! All subcontractors were top notch and Chris ensured everything was perfect. My two bathroom are stunning and that custom shower glass doors has everyone that sees it wanting to replace their â off the shelvesâ glass doors. The glass vessel that I purchased that inspired the whole renovation and the included faucet wasnâ t working they purchased another faucet out of pocket. Talk about above and beyond! I took their recommendations on where to look for quality tile and granite and couldnâ t be happier. I wish I would have found them before I did a complete kitchen remodel. 100% would use them again and highly recommend."

"They kept putting me off. I ended up hiring a company on my own that was not referred by Angi. All the Angi referrals were not professional. They drag you around around and eventually just quit communicating. It would be nice if they just said they would pass that they are too busy. The company I hired is back logged to Dec. But I still hired them because of they are professional, even came by early. Gave me the quote right while still at my house, on their computer. Did more upgrades then anticipated (but actually wanted) So the job ended up much bigger. But your referrals never came around to find out. We have tried to use Angi several times, only one of those times did not actually pan out to be a good one."

"It went well. It's challenging to find someone to work on an old downtown house like mine but he worked with me on the budget and on doing what was needed."

"Nick created a beautiful porch at our house overlooking the marsh. It is actually much nicer than the old wood porch and offers a more open view. Nick is highly skilled at all of the various tasks that were involved. He moves the project along quickly, is a good communicator, and does not nickel and dime you once the job begins. His quote for the job was very reasonable, especially considering all the work that was done."

"They repaired the kitchen floor after a serious leak as well as repaired and replaced the subfloor foundational wood beams. We were stuck because we had to have the work done prior to an appraisal of the house in a week. Surprisingly they were able to move quickly and help us out. We were delighted with the professionalism of Chip and his foreman and all the workers! We were happy to share the house with them for a couple days and very pleased with the final work."
