"When we learned very quickly that electricity was something best left to the experts, Neil was our first call--and our only call. We had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once we met Neil at Scioletti Electric, we stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Neil was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic (and commitment to a job well done) these days. Thank you for your help, Scioletti Electric!""

"All went well except the price. I asked for the fees up front, before service. They told be there rate and fees. They were reasonable, so I hired them. The technician was prompt and did good work. When he gave me the bill, it was $100 more then expected. He charged me for travel time. Maybe that's normal, But I was not told that when I asked for charges."

"Being a home owner & work from home, has its perks but, you have to upgrade from what you had. Brad & his team were amazing with the work they did. I highly recommend this company to do the electrical work for anyone. They were very direct with their answers & very helpful with explaining things about their work. Thank you very much for your business Brad & the team."

Small jobs welcome

"Beech Electrical was on time, very knowledgeable, polite, professional and their costs were fair and the most reasonable of over the four other companies that I interviewed ( which had crazy high prices).. I had a fixture installed and centered to my table and when all was connected the fixture was faulty (only two lights out of 4 lit. . I could either return the fixture and start all over again or Beach said they would try to troubleshoot to fix the fixture (it took a while but they did repair it) so no need to take fixture down and purchase another and start over. , I don't think any other Electrical Company would have done that, Beech Electrical will be the company I will be relying on from now on."

"One time, professional, competent, and reasonably priced for services rendered. Cost was approximately 1/8th of what the only other company to show up quoted (they refused to do any work without a “mandatory”complete panel upgrade). Thanks!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in North Fort Myers, FL

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
