"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"John's group of three workers and designer completely cleared my urban jungle in one day -- while preserving the sacred items that needed to remain -- a very old dogwood in an awkward place, for example.  They listened to my wishes  the following day and planted everything as requested adding touches such as edging detail that enhanced the whole job. 

My only regret is that John's initial view of my place was not done as an in person visit with both of us discussing the project. His initial estimate that included a retaining wall and steps was higher than others and I didn't pursue.  Judging from his quality of workmanship, I would have preferred to work with him, but a signed contract prevented this.  I look forward to working with John's Landscaping going forward.
