"Kim did an amazing job, the filter canister, which is located in a very difficult a cases crawl space, was basically glued and almost impossible to open. He spent almost 3 hours at my home I am 100% sure that if was another Handman, he would tell me either to get a plumber or leave without do the service. Again, it was NOT easy and Kim was just phenomenal! Plus a very nice person to talk to. I was really lucky to find Kim!"

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Mr. Chambers of Grout Pro came to our house last November to look at our upstairs shower to provide us with a quote to seal the areas of open grout/caulk that caused it to leak into our downstairs basement. I found Mr. Chambers to be courteous, knowledgeable, personable and competent. I contacted him immediately after his visit by email to follow-up on the terminology used in his contract/quote so I could be sure that we were on the same page and that everything we needed to be completed would be. He suggested in an email that he might have our job confused with another customer and wanted to come back and have another look at the shower and then the heavy snows came in December. I followed up since December by email (4 times), text message (3 times) and phone message (once) and US Mail and did not receive ANY response at all. POSTSCRIPT TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: THE OWNER CAME OUT ON APRIL 17 AND REPAIRED THE SHOWER AT HIS OWN COST. BEFORE SCHEDULING THIS APPOINTMENT THE OWNER ADMITTED HE HAD DROPPED THE BALL IN REGARDS TO COMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW-UP ON OUR PROJECT AS MENTIONED ABOVE, I FOUND MR. CHAMBERS COMPETENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I THEREFORE HAVE REVISED MY REVIEW TO INCLUDE THIS ADDENDUM. I HAVE NO RESERVATION RECOMMENDING HIS WORK."

"I needed several small repairs done to the exterior of my house prior to having it painted, which Walt and his wife did beautifully. They also replaced the deck on my shed, and did a wonderful job on that as well. They were quick to respond to my initial request for a bid, accomplished the work within my time frame, did quality work, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. "It went very well. Absolute's estimate was a little lower than a competing bid. We decided to hire them based partly on price but also because we needed help choosing colors. Beth provided a color consultation and offered us good choices for both bedrooms. All went as planned. Beth arrived on the first day to walk-thru the job with us, suggested a finishing touch to line the top of the walls (charged at time & materials). We liked this effect a lot and are very glad Beth offered it. Beth recommended a special paint for the shower ceiling and the charge for re-finishing it was very reasonable, including cleaning the mildew. Their crew of three led by Diego showed up right on time both days, were very pleasant and courteous. They borrowed our vacuum cleaner at the end, leaving no sign they'd been here - other than the first-rate paint job! After the job Beth checked-in to see how the job went, and we noticed a small problem that Beth handled impressively. When the crew re-hung the bedroom doors, one door seemed harder to close than before (it was already tight). Beth sent someone out right away and he adjusted the door so it's easier to close. We're very glad we hired Absolute Painting and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Their work is truly excellent, they clearly take pride in it."

Very thorough in explaining the process and the cost. He was able to start the work quickly due to a cancellation. In 3 days the job was done with a Timber Tech product and it turned out beautiful. No more pressure washing the old deck, sanding and staining. If you are looking for a new deck or a rehab on a older deck you need not look any further than Ed.. Honest and dependable."
