"I was quoted to have a part changed by Tony's. He gave me a price,said he would have to order it. The next day Tony's office staff called asking if I wanted the part which had doubled from the original quote (she read the quote I received aloud which confirmed it), she told me she couldn't do anything about the quote price from the day prior and the labor already spent would not be applied to the service I called him out for, she could not tell me if the fan was included and would have to call me back, which she never did. This is when I called another service. The near $200.00 I already spent and didn't ask for was for the "cleaning" which their contractor pressured my wife into so she could receive a $50 credit from our natural gas provider, but was really to doubledown on service call charges for the same issue. The contractor spent most of his time on his phone for a personal call and was more interested in selling us a new unit than performing any maintenance on this one."

"Well we had Stanley steemer clean out carpets in the beginning of august 2023. They were there for about 29 minutes total to supposedly clean 3 bedrooms, hallway and stairs. Long story short we had to have H&H carpet cleaning come in after them to do it right. I did talk to Rich the owner to try and get reimbursed for the total failure of the job. He did call me back at first and then would never return my call again. I have always used Stanley steemer in the past but will NEVER use them again. It was a total waste of money. I owned 2 of my own businesses for 32 years and NEVER treated a customer anything like I was treated. All they did was come in and sprayed water on my carpets. I gave Rich plenty of opportunity to do the right thing I even called the main Stanley steemer in Ohio and someone there even sent him an email which he just ignored. In all my years of owning 2 businesses would I have ever dreamed of treating a customer like that"

"We just bought our home and our hot water only lasted a few minutes. The repairman response was fast, he charged us $129.00 for the service call. He told us the heating elements were bad even though the water heater was only 1 year old. He quoted $1574.00 to "rebuild the water heater." We figured it couldn't hurt to try and replace the heating elements. It cost less than $40 (wrench included) for the parts at Lowes and fixed the problem. Since a same brand replacement water heater cost less than $500., the quote from Vincent's is shady to say the least. It makes us wonder how many customers have been robbed. Every time we see the billboard proclaim Vincent's #1 in St Clair County we cringe."
