"Erwin and his son were very nice and took time to explain things. In addition to giving me a price for the light fixtures jobs that needed doing, Erwin suggested some big price jobs that I had not called him out for. One of his suggestions was to replace the 200 amp panel for a newer one, at a cost of between $3600 to $4500 dollars. Subsequently, I had another electrician come and he said there was no need for a new panel, since it was GE (reliable brand who still sold replacement parts) and we were having no problems. Erwin also said the house needed to be grounded. That would cost $900 (or $990 - not sure). I said that someone had already grounded the large appliances. I showed him the grounding line outside. He then said the wire/cord they used was not up to the current standard. But the city inspector had approved it (within the past two years). So, their suggestions that I have higher priced jobs ( new panel and grounding) that were not really necessary made me hesitate to work with them for the simpler jobs I had called them out to price."

Chris always kept us advised of the progress and what was going to happen each week. The entire project was completed over a two month period. Chris and his crew were often here before we woke up and stayed often until it became too dark to work. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and love the way it looks. We plan to have Chris come out and not only help us with any damage that may have occurred because of our brutal winter, but perform some additional jobs that, although not under the heading of landscaping, are well within his capabilities.
