"Roberts Tree Service contacted me within 1 day and completed job within a week. We needed 2 trees assessed, sadly both trees were too far gone to save. Robert came out and removed both, disposed of them, and cleaned up after. He is very pleasant and professional with reasonable rates. We would hire again and highly recommend."

"Bernie was great and made an emergency appointment for a young, expensive tree showing some stress. He worked us into his schedule and did what he thought would help the tree. Although we don't know what the outcome will be, it is showing signs of new growth. His advice on of what to do on our part on five other trees proved beneficial. A little expensive but that's what you pay for professional expertise."

"Phillip's work was excellent. His communication skills need work as he wasn't too good at keeping me informed before starting the project. His price was fair. He cut the branches for firewood which was nice. He didn't finish until after nightfall, so he didn't see that the cleanup wasn't the best. Overall I was pleased and I would recommend his service to others."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Norwalk, OH

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
