Three years ago, Wu Construction expertly installed a full crawl space perimeter footing drain, brought in drainage gravel, and installed a 1/3 hp sump pump. Also installed a 6 mil black vapor barrier, checked and sealed alle entry points to prevent rodent entry, re-installed all loose inulation and replaced heat duct insulation. The crawl space has remained bone dry, and we've had no further issues with moisture or rodents."

"Had my whole yard redone a year ago. They moved my rock wall back (and got rid of some of my lawn, which I asked for) so that I could have a larger patio area in the back. The dirt they removed was put in the front lawn area so that it was level, and a rock wall was put in. Trees and shrubs were planted, a water fountain and lighting were put in, and my old sprinkler system was replaced. They were professional and I was even gone for 2 weeks on vacation while they worked. I am absolutely thrilled with the end results and have spent so much more on my patio than ever before because it is so relaxing and beautiful now. After the job was completed, I requested their biweekly maintenance. They do garden weeding, raking, edging, mowing and, when necessary, tree trimming. The tree trimming is done correctly and they deadwooded and thinned a tree and 2 rhododendrons that hadn’t been touch in years. They both look so much better and healthier. The workers are prompt, friendly, hardworking, and do great work. I highly recommend them."

"My entire experience with Polar Bear has been absolutely fantastic! From my initial conversation with Roger to plan the replacement, through the logistics and designs with Joe, and ending with the actual siding removal and replacement with Josiah, the experience has been phenomenal. The removal of the old siding went right according to plan: old siding was removed, repairs were made to the underlying plywood walls (as needed), HardieWrap was placed on the exterior, and Hardie Board siding on top of that. Joe and Roger had set my expectations for any potential larger repairs they thought we might encounter along the way, so there was no stress that something unusual would throw them off schedule - the whole crew are experienced professionals that can deal with many situations. Pleasantly, we never needed to do more than minor repairs of very old plywood, but I was happy to know that we had lots of options as we went. Once the initial siding was off, it was a great opportunity for me to fix a few outdoor lighting issues; Josiah and the crew worked with me and my schedule so that I had an opportunity to address those tasks without blocking their progress. The installation of the new siding was simply amazing! Everything was done to perfection and with an incredible level of detail, expertise, and pride that shines through in the final product. Every light fixture, every outlet box, every edge, every corner, and every piece of trim were all meticulously and perfectly placed to give the house a clean, organized look that it never had before; it's truly a stunning difference, not only in appearance but in the quality and knowledge that the house is properly sealed from the elements. One particularly interesting challenge with my house was the new electrical panel set on the outside of the garage that we recently had installed. It was not an easy feature to incorporate into the new siding, but Josiah carefully "boxed" the panels and created not only a perfect seal around the boxes, but a veritable showcase display of the panels themselves that turned them from a normal necessity into an exterior highlight. This same level of attention to detail is evident over every square inch of our new siding: corners are squared and painted, lines are straight, flashing is cleanly applied, and exterior hardware (like gutter straps) were replaced with new, matching components. The quality of work I received is exactly what every home owner wants: the attention to detail and quality (materials and workmanship) applied to the project that homeowner themselves would put into the project, if they had the skills and time to do so. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way."
