My other concern is how the service tech left the dryer vent curled up and partially crushed as he put the dryer back in place, and then took this picture to display it. It would seem obvious that once you saw the vent like that you would correct it. Not happy with that. "

"This is the second time I've used Dryer Vent Wizard, and I had good experiences both times. Seven years ago Jerry came out and did a lot of dirty work. There was a lot of lint, and the dryer vents outside, necessitating climbing out the window onto a flat roof. Among other things, he installed a screen to prevent birds from nesting in the vent (he actually found a robin's nest). Seven years later, one of his crew came for what amounted to a shorter maintenance call, since Jerry had done the right thing all those years go. The only reason I gave them a "4" not a "5" on the price is that I don't know what the median price is for this service. I was charged this year the same price that I paid seven years ago, but if I weren't a repeat customer it might have been more."

"I wish I called these guys first! After paying 200 dollars to another company to clean my dryer vent, two days later my dryer was registering clogged again and shutting off before clothes were dry. They didn’t return calls to come back out and I gave up and tried this company. This was one of the most easy and pleasant service calls I’ve ever had. The tech was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. He pulled a birds nest from my vent and fixed the grate so that it would open and close properly - and plus he cleaned my disgusting lint filled laundry room! It was left seriously spotless. "95% well- driver/technician = excellent -professioal-polite ;eventhough we were last appt of day and he ran into a problem hat cost him time - he did not rush the job or take any shortcuts to my knowledge. clean the very end part of cleaning the dryer vent ran into a problem and could not be worked out as he reached a blockage and he queried me as to how much further he should go and I stopped him. It was dark and he could not see on the roof the kind of vent it was. As it turned out when we could get onto the roof to see -the vent was angkled and if he had gone farther thinking it was a birds nest ,etc., it probably would have meant damage to the inside of vent and the problem wold not have been resolved anyway. As it turned out someone had to go on the roof and physically remove the vent deris to clear it."
