Mr. Bugg’s Pest Patrol, Inc. was established in 1980 and started as a one man business. Over the past 36 years we have grown to 29 employees but maintain our original goal, to make each customer our top priority. David Kellis, the owner, believes in treating everyone with integrity and respect and has gone to great lengths to instill this philosophy throughout the company. The pest control industry recognized this attribute by electing David as the President of the Alabama Pest Control Association in 2005. The company’s General Manager, Susan Taylor, was recognized as continuing this tradition when the Association voted her the President 2015. We always embrace green technology in the use of any pesticides. Whether we are utilizing baits, residuals or some type of trapping program. Some of the brand name products or systems we use, you may recognize such as: Sentricon, Termidor, Arilon, Top Choice, Suspend, Demon, Tempo, etc. We believe that it is most beneficial to our customers to be as diversified as possible in the ongoing battle against pests. Our goal is to free up our customers’ time and manpower by taking care of their pest control needs as well as providing peace of mind by knowing a licensed company with ongoing training is at their service. Locally owned & operated, bonded & insured. Online payment options available. Additional email - contact@mrbuggs.com. Award winning.

"I have been using Mr. Buggs for 3 years for pest control and have been very pleased. I was using another company for my yard, trugreen, and they were horrible. They basically killed my $10,000 lawn. I decided since the pest control was spot on, I would give the lawn service a try. I met with the gentleman and had a laundry list of concerns about my lawn. I waited patiently, because of all the rain, and sure enough he showed up in a timely manner and remembered everything I said and had a plan for it. It truly is great customer service with a feeling that you matter and are not just another dollar sign."

The Aardwolf is a member of the Hyena family and lives in the plains and open woodland of eastern and southern Africa. It weights between fifteen and thirty-one pounds and feeds primarily on termites, which it hunts at night. The aardwolf's keen hearing helps it locate termites, and its long, sticky tongue licks them right up. Most hyenas have strong teeth and jaws and can eat and digest flesh and bone, but the aardwolf's stubby molars can't chew meat and its jaw is too weak to eat anything other than bugs. Aardwolves are also unlike members of the hyena family in that they forage alone. Aardwolves live in their own burrows or in dens abandoned by other animals. On sunny days they spend most of the morning lying outside, but when it's rainy they might stay in their dens the entire day.

FAQs for bug and insect pest control service projects in Odenville, AL

The most obvious sign of a spider infestation is seeing numerous spiders in one area. Other indicators include spider webs, an abundance of flying insects (which attract spiders), and the presence of spider egg sacs. If you notice hundreds of tiny spiderlings, it's a sign that eggs have hatched. Proactive prevention and regular inspections are essential to keep your home spider-free.

The duration of spider extermination depends on the treatment method and the size of the affected area. Localized treatments may require you to air out your home for several hours before it's safe to return inside, and fumigation treatments can take several days. Your extermination professional can provide an exact timeline based on your specific situation.

While a spider extermination treatment can last a few months, it's recommended to schedule routine treatments about four times per year (once each quarter) with a spider extermination pro to keep your home spider-free. An extermination professional can advise on the optimal frequency based on your home’s location and the season.

To deter spider infestations, seal entry points and maintain excellent insect control. Spiders are attracted to places with abundant prey. Natural repellents can offer additional protection. Scents like mint and chestnut oil disrupt spiders' navigation and, when applied around doorways and windows, can reduce the likelihood of spiders settling inside. These repellents, along with treatments and recommendations from a professional exterminator, can provide long-lasting results.
