Small jobs welcome

"Stephan and Cory were on-time, competent, careful, considerate, professional painters! Stephan, the business owner, listened to our needs and met them based on his professional expertise. Cory, as meticulous as his partner, was persistent and intent on his work! They completed the job (full kitchen re-do) precisely as they predicted. We highly recommend Riverside Painting for your residential &/or commercial (interior and/or exterior) paint job!"

"Nate painted a garden shed for me - a relatively small project. He did an outstanding job and I was impressed by his texting me updates and being on-site personally each day to check progress as the short 3-day job was performed by his talented painters. I recommend his work unconditionally. "

"The work was done in a timely manner, the crew was personable and worked well within our home. The rooms I had painted came out amazing and they were even able to straighten out the lines where the ceiling and wall meet. I highly recommend Trad3mark Painting and will be using them again."

"We cannot say enough good things about Nick. He replaced all of our exterior trim and it looks incredible. It was a huge project and Nick did not disappoint! Nick and Marshall are both so kind, hard working, detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. They gave us updates every day and were very transparent about their progress along the way. We cannot wait to have NP Carpentry back for a future project!"

"Charlie was prompt, professional, courteous and did an amazing job painting a very narrow two-story stairwell. We could never have finished this project on our own. I was given a quote, date and time the project would be completed and it was. Highly recommend handy guy services - we will definitely be working with him again!"

"Will's team was great. He reinforced a false ceiling and sheetrock, tape, mud, and primed for a kitchen project. They made quick work of the kitchen and were done in 4 days, They kept the area clean and made sure dust didn't travel throughout the house. About 98% of the drywall was smooth, they did a great job and would hire again."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Ogunquit, ME

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
