"I lived in this house for 20+ years. The basement was always damp and at some points flooded. Since the work was done, the basement has been bone dry for 2+ months. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it as I'm so used to the basement being wet when it rains. I'd recommend them to anyone. The crew, headed by Philip, truly worked their butts off. It was heavy exhausting work to excavate and rebuild the basement walls, as well as jack hammering out the concrete basement floor to put in the French drain, pour the concrete, etc. But they took great care & did a fabulous job. They even came and worked on a weekend when we were being threatened with a tropical storm to make sure that the basement was properly secured enough to withstand the storm (which thankfully did not come)."

"Price is an A I collected three quotes for this project and they were by far the best quote we got. They even helped us out so we could get the complete system with the Durawall Panels. Quality is a B mostly because the concrete that is on top of the drainage system is extremely thin. I can knock on it and hear plastic so that makes me nervous that if anything bigger than a quarter hits it, that it is going to break. Responsiveness is an A we were able to get a hold of them any time we needed and they were very flexible with their scheduling to come out and give us an estimate as well as to get our project done. Punctuality got a N/A as I do not live at the home so I cannot comment on the punctuality of the workers. Professionalism is a B The two individuals I spoke with were very professional and easy to talk to. They were very good about keeping us up to date on when they were going to start and they kept to their projected timeline as well. However, They had a mishap on our job and had I not noticed something had changed I am not sure they would have said anything. A couple of complaint I do have about the project are as follows: Clean up was not as good as I hoped. On some of the Durawall Panels there is mud part way up the wall. The floor was not swept very good after project completion. I was told I did not have to take my outlets off the walls before work started, but they did take them off and did not put them back on after they were done. But all of that is minor because as long as my basement is dry like they claim it will be I am more than happy."

"If you have foundation issues don’t waste your time calling anyone else! When the first gentleman came to look at the wall on a Saturday he was very professional. Two of my walls were in extremely poor condition and after talking to him he assured me that they can fix the walls after I had two other contractors in and they both told me I needed them rebuilt. I knew this was the contractor to get and I went into the office to sign the paperwork two days later. The crew came out a few weeks later and I cannot believe how professional and awesome the whole crew was! They showed up around 7 every morning and I cannot believe the work ethic they had, it completely went over my expectations! They talked to me every morning letting me know what was going to happen that day which I appreciated and if I ever had a question they would take time to answer it. I had wall anchors installed on four walls and waterproofing. I really feel that they went way above and beyond to get the job done CORRECTLY! I can’t speak highly enough for Matthews Wall Anchor! If I ever needed any type of this work done again I wouldn’t call anybody else. Please listen to my review and seriously consider them if you need any of their services. "Mike is a true professional.  He has been doing this kind of work for a number of years and it was obvious he knew his work once he began.  He works with one other employee and both of them were diligent in starting and completing the work.  I built the original wall and it took me about 2 months, and it the end it was a work I would not ever do again by myself, considering the engineering required and the liftng of blocks. <br />"

"In March 2011, a rock pad was laid as a foundation for our large garage being delivered.  Excellent work performed.  As a result of the impressive, professional job done, we had Rock a Fellas redo our deck in July, 2011.  A re-decking took place with Timbertech decking materials with radiance rails.  This was not an easy job, but Rock was very helpful in offering important advice and opinions on where to select materials etc.  He also took care of ordering the dumpster to haul away debris, a detail which can be overlooked by an overwhelmed customer.  He also rectified any concerns/issues with a prompt, professional manner which ultimately led to our great satisfaction when job was completed. <br />"

The slate was difficult to work with because the shapes were irregular and it was very thick.
