"I made an appointment for a one-piece Kohler toilet removal and installation of a new Kohler Tresham toilet estimate initially, after getting an estimate from Angi for same quote for $194.00. "Eddie" came out and was very professional and highly skilled (had installed this toilet model many times) and shocked me with the price quote of $400! I negotiated and got an offer for $350 and proceeded with the install. It took this professional one hour to remove and install new toilet. He hauled away the old toilet as well. I would love to have "Eddie" as my plumber for everything but will not be doing business with this company in the future because of the exorbitant and unfair charges. It was explained to me that this was a specialty toilet but one piece toilets traditionally are less expensive labor wise to install."

"The salesman Dennis, don’t believe him, you will never see him again. He said they wouldn’t start a second job until ours was finished, either he or his partner would be there every day, and how they wouldn’t leave until we were satisfied with everything. None of those things happened. The job was scheduled to go for 10 days. The three-person crew that started were great. Then Tim started pushing us to remodel the kitchen, or our second bathroom. I told him no. That is when everything changed. The next day we had a one man crew. Everything turned into an argument. Tim refused to install baseboards in the bathroom, even though they had removed them, or rebuilt the walls. Tim said it wasn't in the contract so he wasn't doing it unless I paid more. I will admit that baseboards are not mentioned in the contract. Neither is caulking, drywall texture, or painting. All of which they did without question."

"I decided it was time to re-do my old, outdated, ugly master bathroom. I initially thought I would try to save money and hire a DIY/one-man fixer upper, but soon realized that was taking up too much of my time and I could never find anyone dependable. I did some research and found S&W Kitchens (Longwood showroom). I liked that they were family owned and had been around for a long time. My first encounter was with Amy who would be my design lead. Our first meeting was to talk about the whole process of what and how working with S&W Kitchens would entail. She was very thorough and made things very easy to understand. Once we got through that stage, meetings were set up discuss my vision of what the bathroom would look like. I did have several photos and a concept of what I was wanting to do which did help in that process, as well as helpful suggestions from Amy. Once everything was decided, Amy did a fantastic job in every aspect of putting together the materials that were needed to begin the job and following through to completion. My next point of contact was with Adam who was the construction supervisor. He arranged and scheduled the various trade subcontractors and always kept in touch with me on who would be showing up and when. If I had any issues during the renovation Adam was there to answer any questions, fix any problems, and make sure I was pleased with how things were going. This contractor performed unlicensed and unpermitted electrical and plumbing work, rerouting a drain line through a stair stringer, causing structural damage. The electrical was done using the incorrect gauge of Romex wire and the outlets were subpar per the electrician I hired to give me an estimate to repair. Electrical was run on top of studs and no kick plates where electrical was notched into the studs. All of this was covered up behind their drywall patches. I now have to have my entire kitchen rewired due to these damages at my expense. The drywall patches were made with tape and then textured over, no floating of the drywall joints and he wanted to charge me extra for that. Cabinets were assembled with gaps and crooked drawers. When called out on the unlicensed work he lawyered up. I'd think twice about using this contractor. Trying to get my money refunded."
