"Very punctual. Always professional. They went above and beyond on the quality. If I decide to do interior painting I will not call anyone else but them. Great experience! Already recommending to friends, coworkers and family."

"Stace was quick to reply and came out and gave me a quote for partial exterior painting of my house where paint had started to peel. Because of the weather and our schedules, he could not do the job right away but kept in touch with me which I really appreciated. He subcontracted someone else to replace an overhang panel that had water damage…he did a great job too. Once that was done, Stace scheduled to come out and did the painting. Great job! (scraped, primed bare wood areas, and repainted with matched paint (2-colors) from H.I.S.—previously I had used Sherwin Williams and had the name/formula but was more expensive! ) He said H.I.S was a good quality paint too. The only thing I would have liked is for him to have done two coats of paint instead of just one...the only reason for 4.5 rating and not a 5! I’m very particular about things but Stace was courteous, patient, and answered all my questions…very pleasant to work with. Thank you!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Oklahoma City, OK

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
