"These guys were amazing! We had the plastic water intake valve behind the toilet burst and spray water everywhere at 4am. after cleaning up the mess we called Cahill's at about 6:45am and they arrived by 8:30am to fix the valve, which took them like 15 minutes. I asked them about doing all of the valves in the house (16 total) and they agreed to come back at noon to do all of them. At exactly noon they were back at my house and had all the valves changed out in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, clean, polite, and provided excellent customer service. "Fantastic. The majority of work was done in 3 days. Unbelievable!!! The plumbing under the house was a really tight squeeze and it was done to perfection. He had to come back twice for the dishwasher because the door wouldn't close. It turned out to be a manufacturer's defect and had nothing to do with him. Great customer service.
When I bought the house, a plumbing nightmare was discovered. Mismatched pipes under the house  with a heat lamp (surprise!) Of course there was no indication of possible plumbing problems from the prior owner. If we hadn't inspected under the house, we would have had a nightmare in the winter. The shower plumbing sprayed water out the backside into a closet. The washer hook up did not have appropriate venting and the dryer vent went into the floor and under the house through nothing but a tinfoil dryer vent. The barn pipes leaked and one had burst during the period of time the house was empty.
I had 3 bids on this job. One was $10,000 with caveats about possible extra charges. One was $6500 with caveats about extra charges. JM Plumbing said both those bids were too high and he would be more than happy to do it for $6200.
