"Leando was the contractor that performed the work. He transformed my driveway and added me a nice concrete patio on the back of my house. The work exceeded our expectations and the work was completed very timely. I would highly recommend him for any concrete projects."

"I had 3 estimates. Harold came the day after I called and made the BEST and most thorough inspection of the 3. His price was in the reasonable level for how much work needed to be done and based on how thorough his inspection and estimate were I hired him and he was here the day after the heavy rain. He and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, When I called about a couple of minor spots on the deck they were back the next to get them. We are very happy with the work."

"I paid 3500 for a new pine privacy fence. I was putting a sealer on it, and the fence gate was blown shut by wind and broke the latch. I took a look at the latch and realized how extremely cheap it was. I called the contractor to ask for a replacement, to which he told me it wasn’t cheap and that it couldn’t have been wind that broke it. I found a better, sturdier, latch at Lowe’s for 25 bucks and installed it myself. Disappointed that I paid a premium price but didn’t receive great service. Would not recommend."

"Hired Mickey to do a retaining wall.. he built it higher than the grade we agreed upon, did not stucco the wall as promised so it looks terrible and now we have serious water issues coming through only 6 months later. This cost us $20k and he will not return our calls or emails. Looks like we will have to file a lawsuit. Would NEVER recommend his services!!! Total scam artist that says he warranties work but disappeared as soon as he got paid!"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Omaha, GA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
