The repair to the covered porch took a little longer. It was amazing how fast they replaced the rafters and the ceiling including the roofing. I am so pleased with the job that they did. "I offered 3 local, highly rated companies the opportunity to provide a quote and bid for a new roof as well as a substantial amount of repair work to the existing trim (fascia). All three responded quickly to send someone out to meet us and do the requisite inspection/measurement of the work requested, and all three representatives were professional and informative. However, Mr. Guyette was far ahead of the others in his approach, attention to detail, and willingness (determination?) to be sure we understood the details behind his approach, recommendations, and ultimately the quote itself. Though Guyette's quote was the highest of the three, it was not by a significant amount, and each company's itemization varied enough that it would be difficult to say this was an apples to apples comparison. Be that as it may, our choice was to go with Guyette, and we are very happy with that choice now that the work has been completed. The workcrew arrived as scheduled, moments before sunrise, and immediately dispersed into action. It was clear from the get go, that this team had plenty of experience working with each other, and they performed from start to finish as one very polished machine. The work was completed as planned, all in one day... and this included a last minute request (my bad) to re-roof a 12x16 barn while they were here. The roof looks great, the house surrounds (driveway/yard/patio/etc....) are cleaner that when they arrived, and though I hope not to ever need to re-roof this house, Guyette is the only choice I would make should I need it."

"crew ysRoofers showede up at 8:30 am. I had expected them at 7:30 but then realized they operated on Central Time and I was on Eastern Time so they were not late. Went to work immediately on my mobile home roof with three very capable Hispanic workers. Originally thought the job would take about a day but with the size of the roof area, 2,000 sq. ft.+ house, having to replace all the seals and an area of defective roof paneling, it stretched into two days which was not a problem. They also replaced all of the roof vents which had corroded extensively. They also took great care in removing my TV sattelite antenna and reinstalling it to maintain proper alignment. The job was completed on the second day with a complete and very thorough cleanup of all shingles, paper, and nails to include dragging heavy magnets through the yard to pick up stray nails. Work crew and foreman were all friendly and very professional in their job. Would not hesitate to call them again. Have had no problems with the new roof installation"

"Owner (Danny Renfroe) came to the house to do the estimate of the job. He was very professional and friendly to deal with and an approximate start time was established. On day of installation crew arrived about 6:30 am. They laid out tarps all around the house. The old shingles were removed in about 2 hrs. They left the existing roofing felt on the house. They began by applying a blue synthetic fabric over the entire house. Then they put the metal valleys in place. Architectural shingles (rustic black) were installed by several men at different locations at the same time. Some men were carrying shingles up the ladders. Some men were picking up shingles and other debris. Ridge vents were added to top off the roof. By 2:30 pm the roof was completed. They took a short lunch break, and thoroughly cleaned up around the house. All-in-all a very professional hard working crew. I highly recommend Danny Renfroe and his crew."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"
