"Vanir did an amazing job on my yard! They were on time, professional, and the results look fantastic. I’ve already gotten compliments from family and friends. Highly recommend!” “I couldn’t be happier with the landscaping work done by [Company Name]. From the very beginning, they listened to my ideas and offered great suggestions to make the space even better. The team showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to every detail. The end result completely transformed my yard — it looks beautiful and well put together. I’ve already had several neighbors ask who did the work! If you’re looking for a landscaper who is reliable, professional, and truly skilled, I highly recommend [Company Name].” Do you want me to include specifics about the type of work they did (like patio, garden beds, sod, or trimming), so"

"The job took a few days to complete and it was done to my satisfaction. There were 3 landscape workers on the job. One put down the flagstone walkway, which took quite some time on a very hot day. I should have been more involved in this part of the project because I would have made sure the stones used were all around the same size. It still looks good, though. While this was being done, the other 2 workers were preparing the hole for my new tree, planting it and staking it. <br /> <br />I had a section of a bed that came out way too far and this was brought back about 20and quot;. Topsoil was then added and grass seed put down. The same was done around the new flagstone walkway. I don't know what type of grass seed was used, but that new grass grew in so fast and thick. <br /> <br />As far as the new garden bed goes, the first layout was not exactly the way I wanted it but Jeff made sure it was redesigned to my satisfaction (small change - no big deal). The 9 plants were planted with even distance from each other and not too close to the house. <br />All my garden beds (new/existing) were edged and then mulched. Only the new bed had top soil added to it. <br /> <br />Before the landscapers left, they spent a good deal of time going over the proper method of watering the tree/plants. They were courteous and answered all my questions before I would let them leave. <br /> <br />It is now 10 months later and my perennials look great as does my garden. I get many compliments on it and I get a great deal of pleasure from the end result. <br />"

"Scott and his crew had made a bed for us in 2012. He put part of it on Verizon's landing spot after I told him not to.  It looked nice but Verizon complained and so I had to pay him more to remove the edge and reshape it.  Also in 2015 we contracted to build  a new bed along a chain link fence.  The area is low and needed to be built up.  I asked him to kill the grass before he began but he said it would die from the soil on top.  Well it didn't and now I have to contend with killing the grass among the shrubs.  Also he didn't make the bed deep enough and the wetness killed the shrubs so I have to have the bed made deeper and replace the shrubs. <br />"

"Everything went very well. The tree were fairly large and Richard helped determine proper placement. Trees were mulched and grass seed spread around the holes. He even came back weeks later to throw down some extra grass seed."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Orchard Park, NY

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
