The amount I’m talking about is 10s of dollars so not extremely material to my financial situation. It is the principle of it! So if you use them make sure you get a written quote that has the discount stated. Again a discount was not brought up by me, they asked if I fit any of their categories and then at that point I was told I would get a certain percent off. On the day of the move I even had to bring it up since the movers knew nothing of the deal that was agreed to. The mover tried to justify not getting what was agreed to by putting it on me that I got 3 movers instead of 2. So I did end up paying for less than 3 hours when the estimate of the one bedroom apartment move would be 3-4 hours to move at $155 per hour. How many movers that were sent was not based on my need or request it was based on their needs for the day. Since I could not contact their office I asked the mover to contact the person who set up my move so we can settle the issue. He either couldn’t or would not. So bottom line is consider them when getting quotes but make sure all is in writing before selecting. Each mover was given a $20 cash tip($60 total)"
