Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I'm Dan Muir, born and raised in Portland Oregon. I went to Centennial High School and have a five year degree from Multnomah University. I began painting in 1973 to work my way through college and continued after graduation. I began on old Portland homes and soon perfected the preperation necessary to produce long lasting, quality paint jobs. "When I sent email on September 1 requesting an estimate and schedule for getting the exterior of my house painted, I expected to be put on their spring waitlist. Instead, I was super surprised to get a call back that Muir Painting was scheduling about 2-3 weeks out! Too good to be true? Not according to all the reviews I read. And they delivered! Great communication from Dan, the owner! He sent a guy over on Saturday to powerwash the house. A crew of 8 showed up the following Monday at 7am to scrape, tape, paint and clean up. They finished the whole house plus a shed by 4pm! We have a split level house with awkward eaves and 3rd story overhangs. This wasn't a simple, 1-story ranch! I asked them not to paint my downspouts or wood stove chimney pipe. They carefully taped everything off. The house looks great! They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. They didn't break anything or stomp all over the landscaping in the process. Highly recommend!"

We also do scheduled gutter cleanings and offer discounts for repeat services. We are now offering gutter guard installation as well, as softwashing, solar panel cleaning, windows and more!
"It went very well. Hayden was very professional, timely, communicated well, and did an excellent job on our backyard deck. The deck needed cleaning up and staining. Over a couple of days, he power washed the deck well, let it dry thoroughly, sanded it and then stained it a redwood stain color we requested, that he provided. He was very pleasant, thorough and cleaned up the surrounding area after the job. The deck looks beautiful. I asked if he dealt with fences as well, and he indicated he does, so when ready, we will call on Ray’s Pressure Washing again! It will be soon!"
