"DreamStyle Remodeling Does not Honor Their Lifetime Warranty Representation On January 20, 2025 we started to call DreamStyle’s customer service to request help repairing the shower we purchased in 2019 that came with a “lifetime warranty”. During a shower some of the parts from the shower fell into the shower floor. This is something we did not know how to put back together. When my husband called the customer service number, he was quickly transferred to another phone number. It always rolled over to voice mail. Over the course of a week, he left 3 messages. The following Monday he again called the customer service number in both Phoenix and Albuquerque and requested to talk to a supervisor regarding not receiving call backs from messages. A supervisor was not available at either site, but he was assured by both that he would receive a call back that day. Three days later and we have not received a call back from anyone. We have now reached the conclusion that we are being intentionally ghosted and there is no intention of honoring the warranty. If you are looking at a shower remodel do not use DreamStyle if you want a company that honors their warranty."

"It went extremely well and they explained every detail and all options very clearly. Communicating with them was quite easy and they were impressively responsive. Quality work and contractors - price range within dollars of two other bids. Price went up when we realized I needed to pour new concrete - which, for many reasons ended up being a bonus but it did drive up the price considerably. They offered other options to the new concrete as well."

"I chose the Larger Co. to fabricate and install a new security screen door for my townhouse after getting several quotes from different contractors and a big box store. Jeff, the owner came out to my house and took precise measurements and explained in detail what goes into their product. Their prices are up front for different designs and quite fair. Their designs can be modified any way you'd like. Jeff quoted an installation date and stuck to it. Installation was professionally done including clean-up. I am extremely pleased with the quality and fit of their product, and the service that I received from Jeff and the entire crew at Larger Co. I highly recommend The Larger Co."

"The owner's wife came out to supervise the team and ensured that the house was painted to my satisfaction, including a base coat and two coats of high quality paint. I wanted the eaves to be sanded down where the wood was rough and painted with two coats. The trim painting was neat and had two coats on it. She had also come to my home to help me choose coordinating colors so that the trim and exterior would look good together. This job was professional, and the team did a good job under the supervisory attention of the owner's wife. I remember that at least of the men complained at the smoothing of the eaves, but they did as I wanted because she was on site. Before the paint crew came, the house was power washed and had time to dry. This job was done four years ago in 2014."

"Paint Kings was a great experience. Customer service was great to work with from the start. Trea their estimator was timely and knowledgable. Once we decided to hire them, he worked with us on a start date and his crew showed up ready to go as scheduled. We did our entire interior and it turned out great. The crew was courteous, timely, professional and easy to be around. They were considerate of our animals and made sure the doors were closed so not a one of our cats escaped. We highly recommend them. The head painter on our job was Adam and he did a great job of keeping on schedule. Our house looks great, just like new again. Thank you Paint Kings"

"The work was performed well by Eric. My sole issue was the inclusion of a same-day charge of $150 for the work performed. I may have missed hearing that when the office said they have someone who could come to the house in late afternoon. I paid the invoice withe the same-day charge."

"We purchased a home that needed a full paint. We had a week between closing and moving and Garrett was amazing. He met me personally to go over the process and cost. He really pushed to get the home prepped around the drywall contractor with early arrival days of full painting to get the job done. He communicated frequently to keep me in the loop and make sure I was satisfied with the progress. The last day they painted trim and baseboards and cleaned up. Our home looks amazing! I would highly recommend Abeyta and will definitely be hiring them when our exterior needs painted."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Oro Valley, AZ

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
