"LPZ is a small outfit, with only 3 employees. I found them to be responsive to my request even though it was obvious to me they were trying to juggle my job with another job they were working on at the same time. This did lead to some issues since there are only three of them. That being said, a gentleman named Geraldo did my kitchen drywall repair, which he did a very good job on. He also did a good job fixing my ceiling that had water damage. The only negative to report from my experience was that the original estimate had to be updated, which significantly increased after a further review of the work needed to do the job. However, I considered the final price to be of fair value. I would recommend them based on the quality of work they performed but keep in mind the issues I described above."

Jay went above and beyond to explain and show concerned areas that needed more prep work such as stucco repairs. "Very detailed. Had a difficult cracked ceiling to repair. Pulled a section of plasterboard down, reinforced the joists , replaced, skimmed and painted. This was a lot of â wetâ work so he had to come back a number of times to apply the next layer. Shielded the rest of the house from the dust as much as he could and cleaned up after himself continuously. Did the best job that was possible. Time will tell if this will not crack again, but he did all that he could. The work ended up costing about $65/hr. Ace Handyman Services were quoting $100/hr on another job I was going to get done, which is exorbitant. Hire Gilligan if you can, he will do good work for you at a better price. One negative: he expressed interest in another job I had, but repeatedly delayed giving me a quote or telling me outright he didnâ t want to do it. I asked a number of times if he wanted to do it. He would always answer â yesâ but never came through with the quote. Quite disappointed. He fobbed me off in the end. Lost me three weeks waiting for a response from him. Nothing in the end. ."
