We had sought out several estimates but they only wanted to replace the entire desk and wouldn't discuss other options. Dan replaced all of the horizontal wood on our deck for us and removed all the railings to make it a platform deck. Dan was very responsive, timely, and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job, quickly, and at a great value. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great carpenter."

"It was an awesome experience. We had Mathis Construction remove our old deck and construct a new one from scratch. I am so glad we contracted with Verne and his crew. They started the project when he said they would. Only a couple of glitches with the decking material delivered by Scherer Lumber but when that was resolved the project was finished. The site was cleaned up so you could never tell the crew had been there. Verne even sent someone back to add a piece of decking to the top of the Cedar rail he had his crew construct. And they did that part this AM before we were even aware they were on our property. Neither my husband or I heard anything.
