First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"The whole experience was very positive. Wes assisted us in understanding the options and steps needed to select and install windows. He was in frequent contact with us prior to the installation to answer any questions that we might have and to keep us informed of the progress of the company constructing the windows. When it was installation day, Wes called us to confirm his arrival time and showed up on time to start the work. It was very obvious from the start that Wes and his helper were experienced and could adjust to any unexpected issues. The work came out better than expected! "Appointment was scheduled for a quote. A gentleman (Tim) arrived at the precise scheduled time. Prior to assessing the exterior of our home Tim took time to sit down with us to obtain an understanding of precisely what we wanted. After verbalizing our desires and expectations Tim took measurements and provided an estimate. Prior to signing a contract Tim voluntarily provided his suggestions with his clearly evident expertise. There was not any pressure. After interviewing several other companies there was not any doubt Thermal Shield was the choice due to the integrity that was exhibited during our initial visit. When Thermal Shield was then contacted to return to review the initial quote Tim returned and a start date was scheduled. While waiting for the start date Tim called just to follow up and make sure the date was still convenient. The Thermal Shield team arrived punctually each morning and each member had a specialty and hit the ground running. The guys were very professional and took a great deal of pride in their work. The job was completed in the time targeted; approx. five days. While the job was being completed Tim called each day and stopped by to make sure we were satisfied. Due to our home being older, built in 1927 we have dealt with our share of contractors, some not so good. I am sometimes apprehensive with the reviews wondering if they are truly customers. Let me tell you we struck gold with the Thermal Shield team! The final price was precisely as quoted. The code enforcer was by today to perform his final inspection and said "He has been doing inspections for many years and has never performed an inspection which consisted of such quality work" that is a quote. We cannot say enough about how satisfied and lucky we are we chose Thermal Shield.
