"Craig and his crew did a good job.  They successfully redirected the water away from my house, which is what I wanted done.  They remediated my basement leakage issues for a fraction of the cost I thought it might be, so I am happy.  They also came in within their quote, which was good. <br />"

"They were wonderful!  They showed up when they said they would, charged exactly what they said they would; did MORE than they said they would! You can't beat that!  They were professional and polite, both the workers in my yard and the customer service people on the phone. <br />"

"I got the materials and Green Meadows Lawn & Landscaping built a new deck. I got railroad ties for the different levels around our garden. We took all the little step stones out and Green Meadows put a wide walkway down with lots of steps. They made it much nicer than it was before. They worked their tails off. It was 110 Degrees almost every day and they worked for many hours, and worked hard for all the time they were here. I gave them the ability to come in and use the rest room and they never did. They did their work and left and that was it. They were very nice guys, everybody they had working for them was very nice and friendly. My grandkids were here half of the summer and they would go out and drive them nuts, I'm sure, and they were so nice to my grandkids. They went out to fish on the dock and they caught a fish. One of the guys went out and helped them take the fish off the hook. They were just really friendly guys and really considerate of everybody. They let the boys watch as much as they wanted to, and my grandsons are quite small. We had one problem, when they planted something I didn't want. Our back yard was just covered in rose bushes and I wanted all of that ripped out, which they did. I wanted nothing that had a thorn in it out in the back yard because I knew the boys would be out there all the time this summer. When they replanted, they put some of the rose bushes back in. I've discussed it with them and when the freeze is over they're going to come back out and replace them."

"This was a major addition/remodel project which spanned 3 months of snowy, icy, windy winter weather. In spite of this, Butler Home Improvements completed the project in the projected time frame with a resulting remodel that exceeded my expectations. The back half of our garage was walled off to create additional indoor space for the laundry room and an expansion of the kitchen. The original kitchen/dining room was gutted, new tile ceramic tile floor installed, popcorn ceiling removed and textured. Walls and ceiling painted. Custom made cherry cabinets and tile backsplash were installed in the kitchen. Custom oak cabinets were installed in the laundry room. The garage was extended forward by 12 feet to recover the lost garage space. Concrete garage floor, driveway and walkways were poured. <br /> The project included framing, plumbing, drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, painting and concrete work as well as design services for the kitchen layout and to resolve issues related to tying the addition into the original roof. Rusty Clements and his crew provided high quality work at a very reasonable price. Every question was answered promptly and professionally. Every potential problem was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction..The members of his crew were always personable, friendly and helpful. Rusty went to great lengths to make sure that the finished project met all our requirements and to ensure that we were satisfied with the results. In addition, Rusty cooperated very well with other companies including granite countertop installers and a roofing company. He coordinated his work on the new addition with replacement of a hail damaged roof under insurance contract so that the entire roof could be completed at one time. The cherry cabinetry is beautiful with nice artistic touches and very functional features. The quality of cabinet construction is very solid and well-built. Rusty was extremely flexible in the selection of cabinet features to provide the mix of storage solutions that would be most useful to me. We now have a beautiful open kitchen/dining room which is a pleasure to cook and entertain in. The laundry room with counter and sink is a very functional space with lots of storage. The garage addition significantly changed and improved the architectural style of our house and looks as if it was always a part of the home. The concrete drive and walkways accent the home and provide a pleasant access to our front door which integrates with the landscape. I would have no hesitation in recommending Butler Home Improvements as a company of high integrity and quality workmanship. Rusty was very easy to communicate and work with. We feel we received a very high value for the money we invested."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Oxford, KS

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
