"I'm afraid we'd have to give this company a low/fair rating. Two guys came to clean our ductwork, and while their attitudes were helpful enough, they simply didn't have sufficient training to do the job. In addition, no one ever called to confirm the appointment the day before (my wife had to call them), and when they passed the 10-12 arrival time, we received no call letting us know they would be late. Not very professional!! When they arrived, we had all the furniture moved and assisted in directing to the furnace and resisters ?! Right from the beginning, their hose didn't adapt to our filter housing (needed an adapter). The tech asked if he could cut a hole in our ductwork ?! "NO", so I made a adapter with cardboard, cutting to the size of the opening and hose ?! They seemed to have trouble removing some grills, so I loaned them a screwdriver and a box cutter. Finally, after they left, I noticed that they changed out my filter which when I checked it, the new one was put in wrong, upside down and didn't mark the date ?! The two, service techs seemed very "green", but friendly. Unfortunately, "you get what you pay for" and I would not hire again"

After we had our washer and drier installed, we noticed that there was a backfill/flooding issue whenever a toilet, shower, or sink was used. I called H L Bowman after searching Angie's List for services in the area. The soonest a tech could come out would be next day (Wednesday, of this writing). I received a call the next day advising that a technician was on their way. Jeff arrived at my door and was absolutely professional, courteous and tireless in identifying the problem, and making sure it was resolved properly. As it turned out, during the reconstruction of this house, a kick cap from the installation of a toilet, fell down the sewer line and caused a blockage. Jeff used pretty much every tool in his truck to resolve and fix the blockage. Absolutely job well done. Aside from some remaining standing water from my shoddy attempts at repair at 2 in the morning, we have no NEW water - and every faucet, spigot and piece of plumbing works flawlessly. Absolutely will recommend, and continue to use their services in the future."

"When they responded to my request I was quoted $139 for the inspection and cleaning. I was charged $189. But the more frustrating part is that I'm not sure what the person did. They vacuumed something but I'm not sure what because there is still plenty of dust in the fireplace. Previously when I've had this service they took everything out from the fireplace, cleaned the pieces off, vacuumed the fireplace out, and then put everything back and relit the pilot. No way this company did ANY of that, he was out of here in 15 minutes max. Total ripoff. Seemed like a scam."
