The Cheree Project is more than just a business — it's a legacy built in loving memory of my mother, Cheree. With over four years of hands-on experience, I bring care, precision, and reliability to every project, just as she would’ve wanted. Based originally in Michigan and now expanding to Arizona, The Cheree Project offers skilled handyman services including TV mounting, painting, one-time cleaning projects, and specialized Airbnb cleanings. Whether it’s freshening up a space or tackling that to-do list, I approach each job with the same level of respect and attention to detail I would give my own home. With flexible hours tailored to your needs, I’m here to make your life a little easier — one project at a time. Let’s bring your space to life, with care.
"Christian at TPC was great! He came with all his tools needed to complete the job. He was very communicative before arriving and gave me a precise time vs a window of when he’d be there. He made sure that the curtain rod was hung exactly where I wanted it and had me come double check everything before drilling holes in the wall. He kept his workspace clean and cleaned any “messes” made during install. I will 100% be using him again for anything that may come. "

"I had Mark the owner of AZTRADEPROS come and install a custom bar top for me. I needed something simple yet stylish. He spent about 35 hours on it and I paid him for those 35 hours. He helped me get materials and save the most money by coming with me and helping me purchase it. We ended up with pretty much zero scrap. Everything we bought was used. We made use of his truck a lot which was great. Lots of wood working. It came out exactly as I had hoped and his presence was very enjoyable throughout the process. Very courteous, communication was great, cleaned up after himself, checked in with my often to ensure things were moving in the direction I had preferred, so each hour of his time was put to the best use. I will be hiring him for small other small jobs and keep him in my contacts as a great all around handymen. He has lots of stories of his prior work and he takes passion in whatever he does. Anything that you need a handyman for he could do it no problem. I reccomend, happy customer."

I specialize in doing concrete, but I do a little bit everything. I paint, I can install cabinets, vanities, ceiling fans, patio doors, security doors, screens for windows, hang blinds, and home repairs such as fixing wholes in walls, light plumbing like fixing toilets, sink faucets. I am not an electrician but I am knowledgeable on some electrical work. There is a travel charge for anything over 25 miles.
"The Angi Team advised that I leave a 1 star review until this is resolved. I really really do not like to leave bad reviews ever but work is not completed and during the dates agreed to, and this is a rental and I am losing money every day that the work isn't complete. There is some work that needs to be fixed and some that is damaged and needs to be redone. I will remove this negative review once this is all addressed and resolved."

"Unfortunately our experience with Ray was not a pleasant one and this review is being posted to make sure people are aware of the type of work he provides. We hired Ray on February 03, 2025 after walking him through our home and showing him the work we wanted done prior to us moving in. The requested items were to: 1. Paint the inside of the house which he quoted us at $1000 2. Replace baseboards throughout the house for $500 3. Remove double doors in the master bedroom that led to another bedroom and close up that space for $10004. Install kitchen cabinets for $3000 5. Do some work on the patio such as paint and trim for $500. The total came in at $6000, this price was for labor only. We agreed we would provide all the materials he needed to complete the work. He asked for a deposit of 50% but we ended up giving a deposit of $2500 in good faith to begin the work. Two weeks into the contract, we noticed that the work was not getting done as quickly as Ray had promised he would have it completed. We had given Ray a key to come in as needed since we weren't living in the home yet. However, we found that he sometimes wouldn't show up to the house and we would have to reach out for an update. He had gotten sick but he said he would work over the weekend and at night if need be in order to have the work completed by the time we needed to move in. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to work with him. The following week we again saw very little progress, when we asked for an update Ray was reluctant to provide one. We informed him that we would need some communication in order to reassure ourselves that the work will get done. 3 weeks into the contract and the only work that had been completed was a closed off wall, some paint in the 3 of the bedrooms and the 4th bedroom was mostly untouched. In order to speed things up before our move in, we hired another contractor to start on the kitchen (line item #3). We informed Ray this was happening and listed out what we needed him to complete before we moved in. He agreed but once again the amount of hours he put into his work were minimal, he would show up for 1-3 hours a day. He also started to take some of his tools home, saying he didn't need them to complete the work he was doing on the home. Over the weekend of March 1st, we ended up moving in with some of the bedrooms uncompleted. We spent the weekend painting part of the house we would be occupying so we could move our things in without getting paint on them. Ray showed up to work and started to paint another part of the house but the following day (a Friday) he didn't show up. We texted him if he was going to come to the house and he responded with a question, asking if it was raining outside, implying it was too humid to paint. Even though there was still plenty of work to do such as the baseboards and small other items he agreed to do to make up for the fact that we painted 1/3 of the house. This brings us to the week of March 10th, 5 weeks later from the date we hired him and he still hadn't completed line items 1 & 2. He showed up to work the following week, completed 2 baseboards and left after just two hours of work, leaving work uncompleted and took the remainder of his tools without saying a word. We messaged Ray 2 more times, to try to reach an amicable agreement on the work that was left undone. We asked for a partial refund but the only response we received was that he did other work not listed on the invoice. We asked for him to elaborate on this work and he did not respond. We also still haven't received our house key. "

"I had a king latex mattress (very heavy!) that needed to be moved in order to put together the heavy duty metal bedframe. The room isn't large and 2 king sized items made quite the challenge to do the work. Pablo was able to determine how to efficiently go about the process. He was also professional, knowledgeable. He was able to give me options on the universal headboard bracket that was not fitting my headboard properly. I was his last job of the night which was already near 7pm when he arrived. You wouldn't know he was working late by his good attitude; hardworking , detail oriented, and communicated well. I would highly recommend Pablo"

Home winterization is important because it helps keep your home warm and lowers heating costs. By protecting your home's structure and systems from cold-induced damage, you secure your investment and maintain comfort throughout the season. Winterizing your windows, doors, and insulation safeguards your home against harsh winter conditions and can enhance your property's value in the long term.
Yes, you should winterize your sprinkler system to protect the above-ground components from freezing temperatures. Draining the water and insulating critical parts prevents ice damage that can lead to costly repairs. By taking this proactive step, you ensure your sprinkler system functions properly and your lawn's irrigation remains intact during the winter months.
A complete house winterization includes more than just insulating windows and pipes. You should consider conducting a home energy audit, preparing your deck and patio for harsh conditions, learning how to operate a snowblower, replacing smoke detector batteries, installing outlet gaskets, and fitting storm doors. These additional steps help fully protect your home's structure and systems during the winter.
