"I was referred to GoodFellas by an old friend who had nothing but good things to say about them.  Let me tell you, she was right.  They were so friendly and professional right from the get-go.  I was having my kitchen counters replaced with granite countertops and all new bathroom counters and light fixtures.  It all started with ease, every appointment was made promptly and kept by everyone in the company.  The estimate went well, it was informative and I didn't feel like they were tacking on a whole bunch of work just to make some extra money.  They were honest and fair about the scope of work and the price of materials, labor, etc.  I checked it out online and their prices were actually pretty good compared to some of the other companies in the area so I signed on for the job.  The bathroom started easy but, as with any home remodeling, became more than what was expected.  It turns out that my shower needed to be re-piped.  My first reaction was to panic, but again they were honest and fair about price, labor, time, all of that.  The extra work didn't wipe me out budget wise, which I was very grateful for, and it was done so quickly and efficiently it made my head spin.  My shower is glorious now!  Then it was on to the kitchen counters, granite countertops, not an easy job.  This is where the bulk of my budget resided.  Again, they were really fair about the cost and honest about the labor.  They made it very clear that it was going to be a bit difficult to get the large granite pieces up the stairs, not to mention getting it set in without cracking.  Granite is strong but so very easy to crack or break.  So I had fair warning.  Then, it started to rain and I thought for sure that they would postpone until the weather cleared.  No such thing.  They showed up on time and worked throughout in and out of the rain.  Not a speck of mud or water was found on my floors, they were so very careful not ot mess up anything in my house; not my rugs, my curtains, not even my hanging house plants.  I've never seen any construction workers who were more attentive to my personal property than these gentlemen, I was really impressed.  So in and out of the rain they got those large heavy pieces up the narrow stairs and into my kitchen.  It was set into place without any real trouble.  There were no cracks or breaks thank goodness.  GoodFellas surprised and impressed me with not only the quality of work, but they professionalism that they operate by.  Plus, and this is a big plus, all the workers were so mice to my two dogs and my cat, even they always seemed to be right inder their feet.  Every one of their employees were down to earth, forthright, and definitely worth every penny.  I have already recommended them to all of my friends and even a few of my neighbors.  Thank you GoodFellas for making my kitchen and bathroom pretty!
