"Frequency Builders came to the rescue! Short-handed and racing the weather, my framers and I could not get to some final details, so we called the big guns and it was well worth it. In one weekend they kicked butt and installed soffits, fascia, and a porch roof. The communication was incredible and his attention to detail was fantastic. I am very pleased with the work and will absolutely be using his services/ recommending him to friends and family in the future. These are the guys you want; people who take pride in their work and charge a very fair price for quality work produced."

"I can’t say enough good things about David Jones and his crew at Beast Mode. They were kind and helpful. I’ve hired them many times to do work at my house, but the job they did on my deck and porch is phenomenal! You would be making a serious mistake not to hire Beast Mode to help you with your building needs"

"Our home project started by a referral from a local door company that we purchased a custom screen double door from and they sent over Michael to complete the install. Not only did he impress us with his eyes of detail on the product defects from the factory, he also made sure that the install was over and above satisfaction. In fact, we were so pleased to find out that he is a man of many trades and has a long history of successful construction projects in his portfolio. We were in need of installing a large deck rail on the front of our home facing the lake and together we came up with a beautiful product that not only enhanced the homes value and beauty, but also shows a very high standard of quality and craftsmanship. The talents that Michael and his son, Jacob, brought to our project make us very proud to enjoy not only the finished product but entirely changed the overall look of home. His very refined finishes were beyond impressive and his start to finish was the most professional I've ever encountered. He and his son, Jacob, are a team to recon with... I dare you to compare to any other installs in this quaint Rocky Mountain town in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and the surrounding Durango area. "Handy Man" is the best of the best!!!! In closing, I know everyone wants to know about labor costs... you will more than get what you pay for and you wont regret it!!! The quality is first class and the finishes are impeccable!! Time management was exactly what was estimated. The job site was treated with utmost respect and care was given to everything around the project and left in the most pristine condition after the project was complete!! Call Handy Man, "GET IT FIXED" for all of your home and commercial projects!! Thank you so very much "Handy Man" for such a beautiful product that we will enjoy for many many years to come!!!! FAQs for baseboard installation projects in Pagosa Springs, CO

Installing crown molding can be challenging, depending on the material and your skill level. Lightweight materials like polystyrene and softwoods are easier for homeowners to install themselves, offering a cost-saving option. However, heavier materials like hardwoods and plaster are difficult to work with and require professional installation to achieve a high-quality result. Precision is crucial in measuring, cutting, and fitting crown molding, so hiring a professional ensures the best outcome.

Crown molding is available at various price points, ranging from $1 to $30 per linear foot, depending on the material. This wide range offers options for every budget. Affordable materials like MDF, PVC, and polystyrene provide cost-effective solutions, while premium materials like exotic hardwoods or metal offer a luxurious appearance at a higher cost. Regardless of your budget, you can find crown molding that enhances your home's aesthetic.

Crown molding is installed by professional finish carpenters or painters who specialize in detailed trim work. These experts possess the necessary skills and tools to ensure precise measurements, accurate cuts, and seamless installation. By hiring a professional, you can achieve a flawless finish that enhances your home's aesthetic appeal without the risk of common DIY mistakes.

Crown molding can be installed in various areas of your house to add elegance and architectural interest. It is commonly used where walls meet the ceiling, but you can also place crown molding around doors, windows, mirrors, and atop cabinets. Installing crown molding in these locations enhances visual appeal, creates a cohesive design, and adds a touch of sophistication to your home's interior.

To determine how much crown molding to purchase, start by measuring the length of each wall where you plan to install crown molding and add the measurements together to determine the total linear feet required. Purchase an extra 10% of material to account for waste from cutting angles and to ensure seamless joints by using full-length pieces when possible. Including additional material helps avoid shortages and ensures a smooth installation process.

For a professional crown molding installer, this task takes about 1 to 3 hours per room, depending on size and complexity. Factors like the material, design intricacy, and number of corners can affect the time. If you're doing it yourself, expect it to take longer as you get the hang of measuring and cutting precise angles. Advanced measuring and planning or hiring a pro can help the project go smoothly.
