Customers say: Quality work

"The quality of the work (lawn and shrub trimming) was satisfactory overall. However, the excess grass was usually blown into our mulch and the trimmings were often hidden behind the shrubs. We would always be able to fill a whole garbage can of trimmings after they left. Customer service was zero, but I have to select a one-star minimum. There was damage done on a regular basis. We had drip lines in the middle of our landscaping cut. (I assume as they trimmed shrubs), landscape lights cut and ran over, buried landscape lines cut because they trench so deep with an edger (even after we asked several times to not use the edger), driveway/sidewalks gouged out with the edger, and a fence taken out by the edger even though it was a foot from the edge. Not on one occasion did they make the repair or offered to pay for the repair. We decided to send a professional text to let them know we would no longer need their services, and we got a nasty reply. Apparently, we were the problem because we complained. Well, we complained because we expected a professional service to do a professional job, and if that is too much to ask then we do not want you provided a service to us. The value is fine for the money but the saying goes you get what you pay for. We paid them a monthly fee ($80) for our lawn on an annual basis whether they cut it or not (we just went three weeks without a cut, and that was fine because in the warmer months it is typically cut weekly). We also pay a monthly fee ($60) for shrub trimming whether we get it or not. The price was reasonable, but not if we continuously make repairs to our house, lighting, etc. We are switching services and paying much more but the quality of the work is superior and worth every penny."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Palm Bay, FL

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
