"I ask for 6" of compaction, I got 4" at best after arguing with him repeatedly, (he started with 1" saying this was ok!) no gravel, just sand. He installed broken pavers and then broke some more when compacting on top. I ask for gray pavers, and yet he brought red pavers. When I questioned the color of the pavers, he said I would have to pay $250 more to have gray pavers delivered!? So I borrowed my neighbor?s trailer to go get the right pavers. We discussed installing the edge pavers in concrete, he skipped this edge installation process. We agreed that he would install some 2?x2? pavers that I already had adjacent to the new pavers for extra $. He was 95% done on 12/5/25, he said he would pick up more pavers and be back Monday 12/8 to complete. He came back 2 weeks later, 12/19/25 picked up red pavers, installed the 2?x2? pavers on graded dirt only, no gravel or sand compacted under. He said he did not have any more gray pavers and could not replace the dozen broken pavers.!!"
