"This company was highly recommended by a close friend. I had an issue that no one could seem to figure out, Rob had it working before he left my consultation. Then the day of installation... The guys could not have been more friendly or professional. I had a slight issue that was quickly remedied with the utmost customer service. I am highly impressed. They will be my go-to for any electrical needs in the future."

"June-July 2020: I had (3) projects completed by Damon/Mike of Mr. Sparky's. The first job was installing a GIFI switch on the front porch. The second job was supposed to be installing an interlock switch in my main electrical panel for my generator (though due to the age of the panel we settled for an exterior recessed plug outlet). The third job was running an electrical feed and installing a sub-panel into my workshop. During these three projects we had some glitches (as in this kind of work happens frequently). But, Damon, Mike and the Sparky Management made them all good and I would recommend Sparky to others because of their willingness to bend, good work quality and desire to provide overall customer satisfaction. During the process all the workers were courteous and knowledgeable!"

"Excellent experience. Davide is knowledgeable, talented and thorough. Hired his services for 4 hours to complete a long list of items. Minor electrical, chandelier assembly and installation, odds and ends. He was great and we scheduled another 4 hours for later this week. Great and professional."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Palm Coast, FL

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
