"We hired Burry's Waterproofing several months ago to install a sump pump/waterproofing system in our basement since we noticed several leaks coming at the basement floor. Mr. Burry was extremely knowledgeable in the issues we were having and provided an excellent explanation as to why it was occurring and of the work to be performed and what we should expect afterwards. He also provided an informational packet that included a description of the warranty he provides for his services, which is exceptional. We sought out several estimates for this job and felt most at ease with Mr. Burry, not to mention his pricing is very competitive. His work crew was top notch and extremely courteous. I decided to wait several months to write this review so as to provide an accurate idea of how well the basement is staying dry. Prior to Mr. Burry's waterproofing, our basement would get water in it whenever we had heavy rain or rain that lasted a few days. In the 9 months or so since completion, we haven't found one drop of water in the basement. Moreover, the basement air feels cleaner and dryer. We are so pleased that we got it done! Aside from the quality of the work, sitting down to learn about basement waterproofing with Mr. Burry was a nice experience. As a first time homebuyer trying to "do all my homework" prior to making updates to my home, it felt like sitting down with someone who really cared about making our home a better place because he cared about us as people. "We scheduled to have our retaining wall done back in April. Kelly, the owner came out to give us a quote and we scheduled it. He said he had some other Jobs to do before ours but he would fit us in during the month of August and we should reach out to him around the end of July to get a more firm date line of when he would break ground to fix our falling retaining wall. I reached out at the end of July as we discussed and he said due to the rain he didn’t know when he would get to us but it would definitely be in the month of August. I told him that we were selling our house and as long as I could have a firm week that he begin work- that would be enough information to list our home for the new buyers. He gave me the runaround and said due to the rain he would still not be able to make it out and wouldn’t know when he would be able to make it out. I gave him another week and checked the weather, it rained one day but the ground was solid and dry for over a week and still we heard nothing from him. We reached out again in the middle of August, the 14th, And I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is. Bet your britches I will attach a screenshot of his response. So unprofessional, he wasted my time for months and because I had him scheduled of course I did not schedule another company to do the work I needed done! He was rude and short and uninformative. I tried to be nice and civil, even extra friendly to let him know I was flexible and I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is.
