"We had a sizable job involving thinning and deadwood removal from a 100 ft Douglas Fir and a 75 ft. Redwood both situated very close to our house, removal of a large Acacia tree including the stump, and removing a branch from a Walnut tree threatening our shed. JC Tree Experts' bid was thorough and well-priced (we got one other bid from an equally reputable company). They did an awesome job. Very professional, very thorough, very nice cleanup of the massive piles of debris created by the job. We're blown away by how beautiful the Douglas Fir looks now that it's thinned out, and the neighbors have complimented us on how it looks. It's the best it's looked in the 30 years we lived in our home. They even removed a second old stump in the backyard without charging us. I was impressed with how smoothly the job went: tree work is noisy but much of the time they were only working with hand saws, and there was minimal yelling and commotion throughout the 5 hours that 4-5 guys worked in the trees and on the ground. I found Javier Castaneda, the owner, to be a good communicator, highly responsive, and pleasant to deal with. I definitely recommend them and will use them the next time we need tree work."

"I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

"Melvin did our landscaping, including the design, selection, and installation. Our original backyard was multi-tiered and not landscaped at all - most of the surface area was dirt that could not be planted. Urizar Landscaping as a team did an incredible job, not only clearing all the space and preparing the soil, but hand selecting plants (over 150) for the different areas of the yard, putting in a new lawn and building three raised garden beds in our backyard. We have continued to use them a few times a month for maintenance and replanting for the season."
