"Very responsive.  Met with me on short notice for an estimate while I was in town for a short visit.  It had been a rental property for 10 years and I live out of town but I wanted to fix it up for sale.  I felt very comfortable with his level of professionalism and compared him to other bids and found him well within range. Inside the house we had carpet that, when removed, found there was more damage than expected.  He sent pictures of what he found and we talked candidly about changes to the contract with additional fees that were essentially at cost for materials with a small markup.
He was very helpful in keeping up communication with me, even being far away and letting me know how things were going and any decisions that needed to be made so I felt comfortable with the work being done.
I sent a property manager to review the end product with him and she gave high marks.  And she's a tough cookie.
Only problem is, now I wish I could move back in rather than sell it!
