Matthew guided the whole roofing job from beginning to end and was absolutely one of the nicest young man I have ever met. He answered in person and by phone whenever I contacted him, he never rushed me, he explained everything that was going on and found many problems the so called 'contractor' who put on the roof in 2012 didn't do, just to save money. I bought the home in 2013 and the house passed every inspection and after moving in, the problems started, spent a lot of time and money repairing the ceilings in the dining room and living room. Forrest and Son worked very hard to bring the roof up to code and found so many problems and I am very grateful to them for helping me and charging a fair price for all the work that was done. Sameer Asmar and Joe Aponte were so professional, friendly and helpful, and they worked with us and persevered through quite a few challenges during the project, making accommodations wherever possible. The crews worked hard and fast. There was a lot more wood replacement needed than anyone imagined before the old roof was removed. One day an unexpected, fast-moving heavy rainstorm came through as they hurried to get the tarps over the exposed rafters. In addition, after roofing the main house, the work on the garage had to be delayed for a few months due to a separate construction permit issue on the garage structure itself (not related to the roof). But through all of the challenges, they continued to work with us until everything was complete and looking fantastic.
