"Absolutely 100% amazed with Ramone and his crew!!! My backyard is completely transformed!! He gave an absolutely amazing price and didn't raise it when he realized it was more work than originally thought. He came to me anytime something would cause us to go over budget and worked with me to keep within budget while still getting the work done. I wish I could afford to pay him more and keep him on to fine-tune the yard now. You can not go wrong with hiring RR Landscaping!!!"

"Excellent work from Garlar Landscaping, definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for yard work. Communication with the owner was always on point, I was always notified if they weren't able to show up the day scheduled but would show up the following day and still provide excellent services."

"I called James on a Monday, he came to my house the following day to give an estimate. I accepted the estimate and he did the work two days  later. He was on time and did an excellent job. Clean up was well done too. <br />"

"On day 1, the Catchys crew used heavy equipment to remove all of the existing plants and 6" of soil. They also dug down 18" along the neighbor's mow strip in preparation for the barrier installation. Before the crew left, they cleaned up the work site, swept up all the dirt in the street and along the gutter and hosed everything down. Very neat and tidy!? On day 2, the crew returned to install the barrier along the mow strip and again left the work site clean. On day 3, the crew didn't show and I waited until 10 a.m. to call Juan. He apologized and said the boulders set aside for the project were not suitable and they were waiting for replacements. This was the only snag in the project. I felt that Juan should have contacted me to tell me there would be a delay. On day 4, the crew arrived with the fresh soil and the boulders. In concert with my instructions, the crew placed the soil and boulders. Juan also arrived to apologize for the delay in obtaining the boulders. The street and gutter along the work site were swept and hosed down and left in a clean condition.? Everyone on the crew was friendly, polite, hard-working, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. <br /> <br /> UPDATE <br /> After the work was completed, I gave the firm a glowing report on Angie's List. However, when I began to put plants in the newly landscaped area I discovered the soil provided consisted of heavy clay. I was expecting soil that was described in the Terms and Conditions of Proposal (TCP) as: "All plant material installed will be back filled with a native soil/compost mixture, water polymer, and fertilizer." When I re-read the TCP I realized that the soil described was only provided when Cachys Landscaping did the planting. That told me that Cachys knew the type of soil that assures optimum growth for plants.Next I reviewed the actual proposal for my property. It called for "New Topsoil." A definition of top soil is the "fertile, upper layer of soil".The clay I received could in no way be described as "fertile". The irony of the whole situation was I had actually paid money for soil I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy!I contacted Cachys to voice my displeasure about the soil provided. I was hoping to have the clay removed and new top soil brought in. That didn't happen, but Cachys did agree to provide two yards of compost and have it integrated into the clay. Not an ideal solution, but better than nothing.New customers should have a clear understanding of the type of soil that will be provided for their landscaping project."
