"Poor experience and would recommend you go with a more professional company. A few minor issues that leads to a bad experience. 1) Cash/check only company. Not a huge deal, but definitely a negative. 2) They left everything covered when complete and don't return the next day to clean up/remove the garbage. (See pictures) 3) They removed the shower doors and don't put them back on. (See pictures). They refuse to send anyone back to put the doors back on because they "aren't trained to do that". If that's the case then why did they remove the doors in the 1st place? Communicate with your customer before you do something like that, not after? In my opinion, the job was only half done. Sub-par business with sub-par management."

"We have been dealing with Stan Gelber and Sons for at least 25 years without any problems until this year (2025) when we called for our seasonal a/c spring tune up and was given the price for the job. When the service tech was finished with the job we were given a bill for more then was quoted on the telephone without any additional reasons for the additional price as there was no parts that were needed. When we called to question the amount we were told that was the price and there was NOTHING they could do. Sorry Stan Gelber but you have lost a customer after 25 years"

He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. "I made a great choice with hiring Anthony to repair the brick on my townhouse after replacing two windows and moving a door on our back extension. He was responsive and easy to schedule with. Took ownership of the job and helped solve a roof leak that my roofer wasn’t exactly on top of. He made a recommendation for capping the cornice and he was able to add this to the project easily and at a fair price. Anthony takes a lot of pride in his work and he did a lot of it himself instead of just dropping off a crew at multiple job sites. He asked me questions on how I wanted things done and was very generous with his knowledge and experience. He was very respectful and never talked down or “mainsplained”. He addressed one small issue that came up with my neighbor. I will definitely be hiring him again as my house needs exterior work."
