He also repaired the wall.  Everything turned out well. <br /> Modern Plumbing arrived on time, completed the job and was very professional. "Great! I'm not gonna lie, Bruce's hourly rate might be more expensive than what you are expecting. But I chose him because of another review that mentioned his expertise in doors. His professionalism, attention to detail, and completely pleasant demeanor convinces me I made the right decision. Despite his hourly rate, I believe he saved me money by suggesting swapping out doors, rather than buying pre-framed or custom doors, which I assumed I would have to do. And his relationship with Sunnyvale Lumber (a company I have shied away from in the past because I thought they catered only to professionals), made this a painless process (I should probably write an additional positive review for Sunnyvale Lumber). Maybe due to his relationship with Sunnyvale Lumber, they were very responsive to me. I had new doors installed within 4 weeks of ordering them (which included Sunnyvale Lumber's lead-time + Bruce's availability). The total cost was < $1200, which is less than I got quoted from other vendors (for custom + pre-framed doors with NO installation), and a much shorter lead time. I have not used Bruce for other work yet, but he is very aware that you might be on a budget, and suggested some inexpensive options (that he knew would not involve him) for some additional work I was considering. Bruce strikes me as an honest and highly communicative vendor, who is in it for the long haul, and cares about his long-term reputation. I would use him again & recommend him to others."

"I sent an inquiry to Eric Olson about his minimum pricing and was responded to, via phone, by his sister Katrina. She was very knowledgeable and provided answers to all of my questions. <br /> We scheduled the repair and both Katrina and her husband Dennis arrived at the the scheduled appt. on time and with all of the supplies/tools necessary to complete my repairs. <br /> They were very professional and very thorough in making the repairs they were hired to do <br /> . <br /> They were were very personable and easy to work with. <br /> They made a point of telling me that if there were any leaks in my windows after their repair that I should contact them and they would take care of it. <br /> I only have this minor repair to leave feedback about at this time (it hasn't rained yet) but I can tell you that these two are hard-working, knowledgeable, dedicated, focused, detail-oriented and working to please their customers. <br /> I recommend them 100%. <br />"

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

John Horst was on time (actually able to show up early!) and educated me on how/why (new) faucet drips/leaks as he was doing repairs. <br /> His rate is $45/hr and only chartged me $25 total cost. I paid hime $35.00. <br /> Would use his services again as he can repair most things a specialest (i.e., plummber for replacing garbage disposal @ $120-180/hr!.). <br />"

"Shane seemed to be very busy and was slow to respond to my calls <br /> . <br /> When finally able to come to the house to prepare an estimate, there was no indication by his truck or attire that he was a professional, (no business license, business name displayed). <br /> When the estimate arrived it was for the cheapest job possible (which may have been my fault for mentioning that I wanted to sell the house). <br /> Even though he knew that there had been a major leak into the house and shop, the estimate was for applying a second layer of shingles over the top of the bad ones, with provision for other repairs as indicated.......... I obviously have damaged plywood. <br /> To further save money it was suggested that I obtain the permit. <br /> This all may be good for someone desperate to save money, but it is not what I had in mind. <br /> A little better communication on both our parts, may have produced a different result. <br />"
