"Hired Andre Pro to do 2 tasks. Confirmed date and time for work. Pre-paid him $242 via Venmo (I have copy of Venmo transaction) for supplies. He never showed up. Never answered my calls and took my money. I will NEVER use Angi again. Getting through to customer service on Angi is next to impossible. I was stiffed $242 with nothing to show for it and no one at Angi got back to me. Terrible service all around."

"Mike did two major projects on our home and we will hire him again without hesitation. One of our projects was particularly complex: converting a cinder block and steel structure into a studio an auxiliary space. We had incomplete and impossible architectural plans, but he was able to find workarounds to these shortcomings. He was always available for questions and we enjoyed working with all of his subcontractors. He also did a remodel of our kitchen, including taking down a wall. "I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. Overall, I am satisfied with their work and would hire them again for my next project."
